I was thinking there should be a person whose job it is to explain things to kids when they are at the doctors - like a counselor or something who goes with the kids when they have procedures done and answers any questions they have and explains to them what is going to happen next.
Yes, that needs to be a thing that exists. Now. Children shouldn't have to suffer from lack of information any more than adults should.
