The Impala moment in the Benny ep was SUPERB, yes indeed.
We've talked about how I don't like Benny, haven't we? But I take that back in that, I do actually like Benny - at least in the episode with his pirate girlfriend, I felt for him. But I feel like they are really forcing the brotherly bond between him and Dean on us, without really showing it to us. Show, don't tell! I think if they had left Dean in Purgatory for four or five episodes and let us see him and Benny and how Benny was all he had and all the things that they went through together (that they keep telling us about even though we haven't really seen much of it) I would be buying that whole thing more and would probably be all about Benny. As it is, I feel like they are just using Benny to push Sam and Dean apart.
I really actually got into Benny right at the moment in the last ep though when I thought he was going to let the hunter behead him rather than put more people in danger. Of course, they backed out of that at the last second and now I am bored again.
Honestly, the moment in the Cas episode where he and Dean had their talk? If the rest of the season was just comprised of that scene run over and over again on a loop (sometimes in slow motion) I would be happy. They could throw in some Impala porn once in awhile too, that'd be cool.
See, this is why I never talk about SPN anymore. /sigh/
