I knew MGG had to have knee surgery, but I had no idea it was that bad. I guess I'm lucky when I dislocated my knee the cartridge wasn't ruined, mainly because I have hyper-mobile joints and everything dislocates pretty easy.
Oh, ouch, your hyper-mobile joints sound nerve-wracking - I'd be freaked all the time about popping something out of place. From what I gathered in the article about MGG's knee dislocation, it sounds like more than just dislocation - it sound like the entire leg separated at the knee, like his lower and upper legs were completely detached from each other and the knee was just sort of like hanging there in the middle. (freaking myself out thinking about it).
I have such a soft spot for Reid
Me too! I mean, knowing me you'd think I would go for Morgan (or even Prentiss) and I mean, I would tap those so hard, but Reid will always be my Criminal Minds boyfriend. I love him so hard.
But I have to agree that is a great ep. And their is nothing wrong with shipping those two guys, I can totally see it. The guilt he still held onto was heartbreaking.
Wasn't it just heart-breaking? And to think he had carried guilt that around for so long, probably thinking the younger kid was dead. And that thing the guy says (the younger one who was the son) about how 'all those boys that came through that house and you were the one I was waiting for.' It seems impossible not to ship them. My head-canon is that of course the younger guy who is the killer ends up in a permanent placement in a mental hospital, but that the older guy comes out to visit him once a week every week for the rest of their lives.
