So, I haven’t told you all about my Christmas or my week with The Nephew or anything, but let’s just work our way backwards and start with a post about New Years! It was quite nice. My sister was actually home for New Years Eve, but went to bed early, so me and The BFF just stayed up all night, talking. I know we watched something, but other than the Arrow midseason finale - (Thea!! Holy shit!) - I can’t remember what it is was. We watched the ball drop for like one minute at midnight and then went back to talking! lol

Sis left early the next morning for New York and The BFF and I spent the day vegging, stuffing our faces and watching Parks & Recreation. She’d seen it before and then made my sister watch it all and now I want to watch it all too. We made it almost all the way to the end of S2 by the time the weekend was over. We have all come to the conclusion that my sister is Leslie and The BFF is Ben and I am a weird combo of Andy & April - (D always said I had the opposite-twin-personality of a true Gemini). Also, Tom Haverford? That’s my man!! Though, if I couldn’t bag Tom, I’d settle for Ron, but that may just be my attraction to Nick Offerman talking.

On Friday we played with The BFF’s new game, Firefly Yahtzee, which is basically regular Yahtzee but with Chinese numerals on the dice and your roller cup is actually Serenity! I mostly used Serenity to fly around and do Wash quotes. Then I had PT, so afterwards we took The BFF’s gift card and went to Applebee’s. I had the salmon and it was delicious! We spent the time there plotting out The BFF’s newest fic and fangirling all over the place. There was a dude at the next table who looked exactly like Christian Kane in another 15 years. It was freaking me out. Then I freaked out more about how it’s been like a year and Christian and Steve still aren’t talking to each other and I am so heartbroken, omg. The BFF was very indulging of the whole thing, even though she couldn't give a crap. This is why she is the best - she doesn’t even care about Chris & Steve, but I do, so she lets me freak out whenever I need too!

We also caught up on The Flash and…say it with me, ‘What Is Up With Harrison Wells?!’ (actually I have a theory on that, so if you want to talk about the yellow and red streaks and Barry’s mom, etc, drop it in my comment section below!) Saturday we just vegged with more Parks & Recs and also The BFF helped me do some stuff online that I had been wanting to do. (another post on that at a later date). The Sis came home that evening and in the morning The BFF went home and I caught up on comments and got organized for the week ahead.
