Babieeeeesss!
Jul. 22nd, 2014 09:39 pmSo,
lindahoyland asked for pictures of Pippin, after hearing several stories about him that basically described how adorable and cute he is. (which he is!) So I thought I'd post some quick pics of all the babies for my Pig 'N A Post #2!
Back in '99, my cat, Audrey (Papa Bear) knocked up my sister's cat, Zippo, and they had four kittens; Whispa (that my mom still has), Roo, Krycek (Buddy) and Muggins (that a neighbor took in). I took Papa & Buddy with me to the apartment when I moved in with my sister and Roo ended up living in Mom's barn. I thought he'd adjust and start coming inside more, but then my mom got a dog and Roo just never took to her after that. The first year Sis and I lived in our house we have now, my mom ended up in the hospital. At the same time, Roo got sick. The vet said he would need a week of medicine and we couldn't ask Mom's roommate to do it, since Mom was in the hospital, so we brought him home to administer the medicine. We've kept him ever since. He was wild from having spent three years as an outdoor cat, but he has adjusted remarkably well. Then a few months after that, my aunt found 3 week old Pippin & Kirk in the road, just tossed out on the street, and brought them to our guest-room while we tried to figure out what to do with them. 5 years later and we still have them. Since then, both Papa and Zippo have passed away, leaving us with two 15 year old boys, Roo & Buddy, and two 5 year old boys, Pippin & Kirk.
Here are some pictures of the boys!

Kirk & Pippin as wee little guys - they're Brothers!
( More under the cut! )

This is Roo & Kirk together on my bed - they're Cousins!
I have like a hundred more photos to transfer from my IPad to my desktop computer, but these are the best of the ones I managed to get transferred tonight. Aren't they the sweetest babies ever?!
ETA: I just made this post about how cute they are, got into bed, then immediately had to get up again because Buddy was growling at Kirk because Kirk was standing to close to Buddy's cat-mat and then Pippin came in all interested in what we were doing and wanting to get in on the fun and I just wanted to go back to bed! Whew. They are cute, but tiring.
