so...yes, watch Frozen, be prepared to be disturbed though.
Ha! This film is right up my alley, then. I like disturbing films. The more disturbing the better. Have you seen Anti-Christ? Holy fuck. :-)
So - how do you do it with your icons? . . . Tell me in detail. I am making decisions - it is hard.
I will put up a special post over on menel solely about my icon system. (That's friendship man, friendship!) I may not be able to do it this coming week unfortunately because I have a major deadline on Friday, but it will be soon-ish. Hopefully, you won't be done with your system yet otherwise that would be . . . a waste? :-)
Though, I keep wondering if I should have a fic journal too. Do you pay for both your journals? Right now I have like 20 fics up, but if I get all my stories up this year that I want to, it'll be more than a hundred.
Actually, I think the decisions are closely related. The fact that I have two journals completely affects my icon system. Yes, I do pay for both my journals and the main reason I made the plunge was because I needed more icon space. Once I crossed that line there was no going back.
In your case, I don't know if you really need a fic journal. Although, it would make sense if you put up over a hundred fics this year and wanted a space to exclusively host your fiction. For me, the journals are a clear fandom/RL split. (Even though in reality there's a small measure of cross-over.) I don't think of menel as a 'fic' journal. It's broader - a fandom journal. It's a place where aside from posting my fics, I can squee (or rant!) over other fandom-related things and interests.
camera_lucida on the other hand, is a purely personal journal. I had to set it up because as I got more and more LJ friends, I realized that I wasn't comfortable discussing my life with people I had just met. (Not all friendships turn out like ours. *wink*) I could have put up friends filters menel, but I found the whole idea annoying. (And I'm lazy.) Conversely, I also realized that some people who friend-ed menel really were only after the fiction/fandom stuff, so the personal stuff actually got in the way. Hence, camera_lucida.
