I want to know how they got there, what made Dean so angry.
Well - I doubt I will ever write it - (though never say never) - so if you really want to know, I kind of have an idea:
I was just saying to someone else that I wasn't sure how they got there - but that I always pictured the boys as having been from our time - so maybe they were transported to the future after they defeated Lucifer. Like everything that happened was too much for them to bear, so as a reward, they got transported to the future - got a chance to leave everything behind and start again. Which makes sense, because then Castiel would have choosen to go with them, and that would have sealed his fate to become human. I was so in Castiel's headspace when I was writing this, that I didn't really think on the backstory for it - but "transported to the future" is the only thing that really works with what I was picturing.
And Dean? Well, I wrote this before we saw how the Apocalypse was going to go down in season five, so I figured he was going to end up a lot like we saw in episode 5.04 "The End" - which was pretty messed up and angry and broken - (also I like to break Dean - it's a sickness. lol)
