Okay, that makes sense I can agree with. That it's not an evolution away from heaven but an evolution to being human. And heaven is an easier way to say it. I get what you are saying in that regard.
I think also that because to me heaven is a state of being achievable by mortals I see things differently. And saying that it's so obvious that Cass has such a way to go and grow that your story is open-ended for me. Because I would think that as a former 'Angel of the Lord' he would know that whole heaven inside you feeling and when he's finally settled into his skin, as it were, as a mortal he'll re-find that and be an even happier, karmicly balanced person.
