One of the things I've always loved about Logan is how he struggles with belonging with the X-Men, but is still so damn loyal to them. He cares about them, even when he doesn't want to.

Me too! He is the definition of Loner, and yet even he, The Wolverine, can't escape "the family we make" happening to him. He really does struggle with it, but he always turns around and goes back to them.
