Re: SO MANY THINGS

Sorotrity Boys - I actually have seen maybe 30 full episodes of Smallville in my life. I just like Michael. He's such a dorkus. (Though Lex is my favorite thing about Smallville - I always caught the last ten minutes before SPN came on and he was always evil and sexy).

Yes, there was definitely a surprising female empowerment element. I was only in it for the cross-dressing Rosenbaum to start with, but I was pleasantly surprised to find substance and meaning in the movie.

I also loved the scene where he throws the rock through the back windshield of that car when the douchebags yell something rude.

They kept yelling at him that he had a fat ass. I thought his ass looked good! Both myself and The BFF started outright cheering when he threw the rock at them. It was great. (now I kinda want to watch it again).

Deadwood - They're all captioned, y'know.

This is my brain. I keep it over here on this side table because I don't use it very often. - You are smart, that is a good idea. I used to watch everything with the captions on at the apartment, but since we got the house, I guess I got spoiled by the nice quiet neighborhood.

Jane strings words together like poetry. Tim O IS way too thin, but there is that scene where he and Sal are looking at their work on the hardware store and Tim is all sweaty and no shirt and low hanging pants and no underwear and you can almost see everything and holy shit.

Glee - That whole Dave The Bully storyline had me pretty upset. Because it was SO realistic, it was just like, "Well we watched that, I don't want to discuss it afterwards, okay?" And then people on the Glee lists went like crazy about it and started writing Dave/Kurt romance stories and it made me want to throw up. Burt stepping up was amazing. And the outcome was good too, I understood why they sent him to another school, even though they then had to work Chris Colfer onto the show every week. But then Finn was all in that later ep, "You can just apologize," and I thought what an idiot he is to think that an apology can make it okay for Kurt ever. They just wouldn't let it drop. Glee is supose to be my happy show (that very occassionally is allowed to make me cry like a girl).

But then they have to go and turn the Glee universe into one of unicorns and rainbows and gumdrops,

I know. My original thought about how they are resolving this Dave storyline is that they are going to fix all the bullies in the world by holding hands and singing songs. I meant it as a putdown - but then I realized that Glee actually does hold hands and sing, so people probably wouldn't get that remark.

Office - I saw the episode they aired right before the Michael-finale, where he proposed to Holly (she was always my fav girlfriend of Michael's, I cried when she got transferred and had to move away). When she started to ask him in the break room and he stopped her, I was screaming at the TV - "That's a great story, Michael! She says she has to leave and she asks you to go with her and then proposes to you and before she can finish saying it, you get down on one knee and show her the ring because you had already bought her a ring and then you are both on your knees and kising and...!!!!!" But then when they got to the actual proposal with the candles and everyone asking her to marry them and him taking her on the tour of all the places in the office that have meaning for them, OMG! (Though my sister did say, "That is a fire hazard," and then as the words were out of her mouth, the sprinklers went off, lol). Such good stuff, my heart is squishy.
