The Thing - I also thought about Dean saying he worked for NASCAR, because that could explain him being away for a few weeks here and there - but I hate NASCAR with a fiery passion, so NO. But in construction - you totally go where the work is. My brother worked it for a few years and one summer he spent traveling all over the state and living out of a pop-up-trailer with his buddies. For about four months, he was away from home, because work was so scarce around here that they went where the work was and all lived together that way for cheap. When his wife got three or four days off in a row, she would pack up their son and go visit him and that's how they lived all summer long.
Cas could be a librarian if he worked for a big enough library. Like the New York Public Library has a collection of rare books and it must have been someone's job to go and collect those from the ends of the earth. Right? Makes sense to me.
Aren't Barrowman and GDL the cutest things ever?!?! Even without Gareth there, I am sure Barrowman will put on one hell of a show for you!
