ahahaha lol Yeah, I agree with that assessment. I had to cover my face during various moments of The Walking Dead's first season - the only TV show I had to hide behind a pillow while watching. It is graphic and gross and violent and scary and anxiety-causing...and awesome. But I'm not going to pretend it is for everyone because it certainly is not. If you don't like horror movies or zombie movies, this is not the show for you.
Falling Skies actually is a good show for you to watch though. You would probably like it - it's a family-oriented apocalypse! Family-oriented in that it centers around one father (played by Noah Wyle - unf) and his three teenage sons. It has this odd feeling of an apocalypse show mixed with a family drama, but done well, imo. And it isn't overly graphic and all the military guys are hot and there are a couple of nice romantic storylines going on. If you get a chance, it is a show I would reccomend for you.
