i think mills went to him so dawson wouldn't, you could tell she wanted to, and he had this crushed look on his face watching her i was like WTF when they killed her thou it was sad
I still can't believe they brought Hallie back just to kill her off. It came out of nowhere! Your take on the Mills-Casey situation actually makes a ton of sense. I initially thought it was because Mills knows what it is like to lose someone you love so dearly to fire (ie. his dad) but reading your thoughts, I think you are right, that's why Mills went to him, so Dawson wouldn't. I still don't know why Boden didn't step up immediately, because Severide/Casey Feels aside, it probably should have been Boden, but yeah, it's def leading to more issues with the whole love triangle with Dawson thing.
