What is this shit where LJ shuts down for maintenance? I mean, maintenance is good but dude, seriously at 1am? Don't they know that is my prime LJ time? What am I gonna do now? Write fic? Fine. Force me into it. /sigh/

Oh, my sister was asking today if I knew if the IPad has a place where you can insert a disc. Anyone know?

Also, I really want to see "Red" and "Unstoppable", but I can't find anyone to go with. I thought I would call The Guy Cousin and see what he is doing this weekend. But now it looks like The Nephew is coming in - (which YAY!) - so instead of Karl Urban with a gun or Chris Pine on a train...The Sister, The Guy Cousin and Myself will be taking all the kids to see "Megamind", (once I, you know, arrange that with him...oops, forgot). Which "Megamind" looks funny and all, but it doesn't have Karl Urban or Chris Pine.

I was just downloading all the stuff from the photo bucket from this summer and I gotta tell you - The Nephew could be a model. When he was little, there were these pics of him blowing bubbles while wearing this Gap shirt, and we tried to convince his mother to send them into Gap because they were that good. I mean, yes, I am bias, but I'm telling you. Then this summer he went with The Little Girl Cousin to the Detroit Zoo and there are some amazing pics of them. There is this one of them sitting on some Detroit Zoo Plaque, which is set into a slanted rock, and they are sitting on the slanted rock, all stretched out with the plaque between them and I swear, the zoo could make a fricking promo poster out of that. Again, I am bias, but if you could see the pics, you'd agree, I'm quite sure. :)

I have things to say about Glee, but not yet. It was amazing and wonderful and the songs were great and everything - but for several reasons it was very, very hard for me to watch, so I'm going to take some time composing my serious thoughts.

Dammit, GLEE, stop making me have serious thoughts!!!!

EDIT: I'm totally smart. If it's 1am Pacific Time, then it is actually 4am here. Oh, good, I can totally blow my time on LJ and not get any writing done yet again. Yay!

Awww, your nephew sounds adorable. I am convinced my nieces could keep me hip deep in Lindt chocolate if they ever became child models. Though I don't want them to become child models.

Ah! His squishy face, I want to squish it!! MIKEY! For a long time, that speech bothered me, because my mom would use it on us kids when she wanted us to go outside and stop bothering her..."It's my time in here, in the kitchen - it's your time out there, in the yard, your time!" Then we'd think about how we wanted to go outside and play Goonies and we would...and she'd totally win that battle!

I wouldn't want my nephew to be a full on model, but Gap could have used those pictures for sure. It's The Little Girl Cousin that has all the poses down. She's six and she is fond of saying, "I could totally be in a magazine." I think my Grandma has said that to her one too many times. lol

I usually turn on my computer around 10pm, but I don't let myself get on LJ until I get some other shit done first. LJ is a terrible distraction. ;)

My prime LJ time? All the time! lol OK, no, I have school and RL things, so not really. I'm very glad they were doing the maintenance while I was at school, though. (yay, a perk with living in Sweden! Finally!)
Mostly, I'm on LJ after... 7 p.m.? About there. If I'm free the next day, I love to sit up 'til at least two. *has no life*

Wash. I love him. This icon was one of the very first ones I had, back when The BFF set up my LJ for me, she loaded this one up for me at the very beginning. I had switched it out, but I needed me some Wash, so it's back now.

You go on LJ after dinner then? My sis and I usually watch TV until like 9 and then she goes to bed - so then it's computer time. I usually have my computer on for four or five hours but I try to do other things besides just LJ-ing. lol Wait...does it count as LJ Time if I am reading fic that happens to be posted on an LJ? Oh.

Well, it depends. Me and dinner have a strange relationship where I sometimes end up eating it at ten at night. One of the downsides of not living with someone who forces you to have regular hours, I guess. :P

I love Wash too! I have a shirt I wear to bed that has a picture of his dinosaur toys on the front and says, "Masters of the Inevitable Betrayal." and on the back it says, "Theirs is an evil laugh." I love it.

I only eat dinner at a specific time because that is when my sister is cooking. When she isn't home, I just eat whenever I feel like it.

I see someone already answered your IPad question so I won't repeat. My LJ time is random. Sometimes very late, sometimes when I wake up in the am. Whenever I'm not doing something I'm supposed to be doing or something I absolutely want to do.

I used to get on LJ during breakfast, but then I would get distracted and not do the other things I was suppose to be doing, so now I make myself wait until night time. I need to start working out again, but that will cut into my LJ time so hard and that sucks. Working out is boring. :(

I saw Red this week and my recommendation would be to wait til it’s out on DVD. It was fine, but not the rolicking ride I expected. Almost went to see Unstoppable last night, but vacation inertia has set in and I am having a hard time getting motivated to do anything. Except catch up with LJ!

Last week I watched five episodes of Glee and I cried through the entire episode about Kurt’s dad. Honestly, I think I started crying 10 minutes into it and then never stopped. Had to get up and get tissues 5 times. Should have just grabbed a box and held it to my chest!

I guess I will wait until Red comes out on DVD, mainly because I am lame and cannot find anyone to go with me, and because I just spent almost $200 at the vet today - so am also poor. But let me know if Unstoppable is any good.

Oh, are you all caught up on Glee then? That ep with Burt, omg, I know!! I was weirded out by how everyone kept pushing the issue of faith on Kurt when all he really needed was HUGS! But Finn being so upset that no one told him because Burt is the only Dad he has ever known, and when Kurt sang his song, and then at the end when Kurt finally sits down and talks to his dad and then...omg. Kurt is really going through the ringer this season. Geez. But hasn't the music been great? Did you see the Halloween ep yet? I think this last ep was the best "Never Been Kissed" as far as music goes.

I've got your totally smart beat. When I saw it I went 1pm!? That's when I have lunch and try to catch up with lj! Then I did the time zone math, then I realized it was a.m., not p.m.

I don't have a lj time, which is why I get so behind. I try to hit it at 5:30a.m. then again around 1, but usually get distracted by funny cat pictures or porn.

I don't even know what I get distracted by anymore. I feel so unproductive like all the time. I never get caught up on LJ and yet I am at my computer constantly. What am I doing? Okay, sometimes I am watching porn, but not always. ;)

Really, it's like, "What the hell is eating all my time?" I can remember when I was sick and hardly did anything remotely social I didn't have all this stuff to see/do. Now, I swear there's not enough time in the day. And not just cuz work eats it all, there's volunteering with the choir, t.v. to watch, errands to run, e-mail to catch up with. It's almost enough to make a guy wanna be a hermit. It's like you starting doing one thing and 'bam' there's everything.

Okay, just reading the list of things you have to do makes me sleepy. :) I just have time managment issues myself. I don't know how people with like jobs and kids also find LJ time, honestly. No wonder you never have time to write.
