I Finished The Porn!
Sep. 4th, 2011 09:36 pmSo, The BFF and I are sitting in the living room the other day, both working up the energy to get up and do something productive - when I suddenly say, "Oh, by the way, I finished the porn."
The BFF is halfway up to standing when she suddenly pauses and blinks at me. I can't even aptly describe the look on her face. I instantly got what that sounded like and I said, "No, I meant the porn that I was writing - not all the porn in the whole world. Not like I watched all the porn on the internets."
The BFF is still just blinking at me.
"I finished the pwp fic I was working on."
"That's good, because I was about to ask what you planned to do with yourself next."
I just grinned like a loon because it makes me happy that someone just gets me like that.
All of this is to say that I finished the fic. I even went back in and made it pornier - first time I've ever gone back to make something more filthy, but I felt it needed more. I get to add three new kink tags to my tag list now as well. I just need to do the Header Info.
Guess what I'm stuck on now?
A freaking title for the damn thing. Sometimes I come up with things that are too corny or too long or that I'm not quite happy with - but this time I am drawing a complete blank. I got nothing.
In RL news - Yesterday I went to lunch with Cherri from therapy and her daughter and it was loads of fun. We could have stayed and talked for another two hours, but her kid was anxious to get school shopping. I am probably not going back to therapy for awhile (no prescription, no insurance, no ride, blahblahblah) but she said she'd call and we'd do it again. I'm very proud of myself for branching out. We even talked about Supernatural for a bit too. Her and her daughter both seem to have Jensen-crushes. But then again, who doesn't?
And last night I went to see "Shark Night 3D" and my rec to you is...Don't. It was like watching a bad SyFy Channel movie (except they were just regular sharks and not like shark/octopus/vampires) and they didn't take enough advantage of the 3D technology. The best parts were surprise!Donal Logue, surprise!evil!Luke from The OC (heehee) and Poor Dead Gay Corbett's (Dusting Milligan) clavicle - (his shirt seemed to be slowly unbuttoning itself throughout the movie until he just went ahead and literally ripped it off). Also, there were two little 7yr old girls in the movie theater who talked the entire time, screamed in horror when the shark ate people (not nearly enough blood and gore for my taste but I hope those little shits have nightmares - their parents are idiots - there was an attempted rape scene for crying out loud - what were those kids doing there?) and they literally started crying when the dog got thrown in the shark infested waters. Oh wait, I take it back - the best part was when a shark actually ate someone's face off - because I am always saying the sharks/zombies/vampires/dinosaurs are going to eat your faces.
In Sum: Save your money, watch Shark Week on The Discovery Channel for free.
Now I am feeling kind of crappy though - too much junk food the last couple of days maybe. Ugh. I'm going to attempt another hour on the internet before I give up and crawl into bed for more video games and Firefly (last night was Jaynestown, you guys - my hero of Canton, the man I call Jayne!)

Date: 2011-09-05 01:46 am (UTC)porn: if you selfishly used it all up for yourself, we would have WORDS, missy. WORDS.
little screamers in movies where they shouldn't be: hate. so much hate. also, restrained urges for serious violence. as well as retroactive birth control, or perhaps just spaying and neutering of humans so that people who shouldn't reproduce just, y' know, CAN'T.
new tags: dying to know what they are!
writing - in the last four days, I have written 75 minutes and 3500 words of *gasp, faint* original stuff.
Jensen: see my pretty new icon?
I love three day weekends more than can possibly be adequately expressed. Yes, yes I do.

Date: 2011-09-07 04:49 am (UTC)lmao omg, I think I need to go to bed. Idk why that summary turned it into a Jensen/Misha fic except that I want to see Jensen as gladiator, is all.

Date: 2011-09-07 04:11 am (UTC)I have used all the porn! (can you imagine if all the porn in the whole world just disappeared one day?) I would never use all the porn and keep it hid away from you, baby.
I guess Shark Night 3D was only rated PG13, but those kids were there by themselves and aside from not knowing they shouldn't talk through movies, if an adult had been there with them, they would have made those kids leave in the first 15 minutes, when the naked dude's ass was on display. I kept thinking maybe the people in the row in front of them were their parents, but they never shushed them or comforted them when they were crying, so I guess not. Although, possibly they were and as you said, they just shouldn't be allowed to reproduce! See my icon for my fury!
I ended up with four new kink tags for my fic - after I added more filth, I added a dirty talk tag too!
Dude, I can't remember the last time I wrote something original. I also can't remember the last time I wrote 3,500 words in four days! Go you!
I see Jensen looking at me! heehee Hi, Jensen!
Were you a little drunk or just really excited about the holiday weekend? lol

Date: 2011-09-07 11:11 am (UTC)Netflix makes me happy and adds to the survival of children like that (even the crying ones). But some movies, I suppose, should be seen on the big screen. Love the icon!
I'm pretty happy about the writing, yep yep!
I was just happy to have the weekend long and mostly uninterruped by school stuff.

Date: 2011-09-05 02:20 am (UTC)The prompt usually provides an idea. So my Charles/Erik first time fic about awkward psychic sex was called Open the Gates and the Inception fic I'm working on about secrets is called What Do You Lock Away? Though using a line is a good idea also lyrics can help.
Now I think I want to put up another prompt post as I'm wondering if I could actually pull off more Charles/Erik, they were fun.

Date: 2011-09-07 04:16 am (UTC)Open The Gates is a great title for C/E psychic sex fic! I like it.
First Class actually comes out on DVD this weekend (I can't believe so soon!) if you need a refresher for more fic ideas. It could be considered research, after all. ;)

Date: 2011-09-07 04:19 am (UTC)You could leave me a Charles/Erik one and if you'd like to read it, here's the story.
I keep seeing the ads but wow that's a fast turnaround from theater to DVD.

Date: 2011-09-08 12:38 am (UTC)I know, I wonder if it is just the plain theaterical version and no extra features. Sometimes they do that and then release a special edition a little later. Because I feel like I just went and saw that movie at the theater.

I know what you mean about the titles, they're HARD. And not in a fun way. I hope you come up with one soon so we get to read the porn! (I'm glad you didn't finish all the porn on the internet. What would the rest of us do then? :P)
Everyone in the world should have a Jensen!crush. Seriously, the man is the most awesome thing ever. Even my brother has a man crush on him. Well, on Dean, but it almost counts. ;)
Letting your seven year old kid watch a movie with attempted rape and sharks eating people's faces and dead dogs in them is just... wow. Why are people so incredibly stupid sometimes?
I love that The BFF got you like that. Friends like that are awesome. :D
Jaynestown! *gets Firefly cravings* I think I will have to watch some Firefly today. Yes, yes I do.

Date: 2011-09-07 04:30 am (UTC)Even if I finished all the porn, it doesn't mean I would ever keep it all for myself and not share - that would be beyond cruel!
I know, everyone should have a crush on Jensen! Or Dean, whichever. I just thought about it today, how he is so good-looking and also like the kind of guy that other guys want to hang out with - it makes it hard not to crush on him. Cherri was talking about the gag video at the end of Yellow Fever and how she randomly bursts out laughing everytime Eye Of The Tiger comes on the radio and no one at works understands why.
Shark Nitgh 3D, as it turns out, was only rated PG13. Idk why. In one scene, two guys held a gun on a girl, made her strip to her underwear and then one of them started like biting her ear and licking her neck (you know, during a break from the sharks eating everyone). And Idk where those little kids parents were...there were two adults sitting in the row in front of the kids, but they never spoke to the kids or removed them from the theater (like I would have when they started crying!) Who cares if the movie was a freaking Shrek movie even - why were they unattended at all?! My frustration over this gets higher everytime I think about it,.
My BFF really is the best!!
I was a little drunk the other night, just a little, and I sent a reply to someone about Firefly and ended up waxing on about how my heart feels about Jayne. She was laughing her ass off at me afterwards. But I do love him with a big giant heart. It's ridiculous because he is so.Jayne, but that's why I love him. Last night was the one where they flashback to how Mal got the ship and crew and then he almost dies alone on the ship. <3 There is this scene where the fire is about to take Serenity, and Jayne is crouched in a corner kind of freaking out, and Mal barks an order and Jayne is on his feet so fast. I had to rewind and watch it again, because damn it is hot when my man jumps to and follows orders like that.
I swear I'm not drunk right now.

Date: 2011-09-07 09:20 am (UTC)Yeah, for me, fic titles just genreally never agree with me. The only one that I had an easy time with was Don't Ask, Don't Tell, which I named before I even started writing it. I usually have to pester
Oh, the warnings! I have trouble with those, too. Like, with my latest porn fest fic - it felt so totally dirty, but all I could think to warn for was anal beads... Felt weird.
Even if I finished all the porn, it doesn't mean I would ever keep it all for myself and not share - that would be beyond cruel!
Glad to hear it! :D
Hahaha, I do that too! Eye Of The Tiger = hilarious Jensen miming in my head. Every time. It's awesome. :D
*shakes head* I feel old, but I totally agree - kids that young shouldn't be alone at the theater.
Dude, Jayne is just... so... Jayne. I agree! When you mentioned him crouching in a corner freaking out, I got a flash back to that scene in the first ep when Kaylee has been shot and Simon has her in the hospital-room-thingy and Jayne is crouching outisde a window, looking so damn worried. That's what melted my heart for him, right there. *sigh* I also love the scene where Mal starts a fight in a bar because it's Unification Day (is that what it's called? Hmm, I need to watch Firefly again) and Jayne just sits there, saying he didn't fight in no war. And then he ends up fighting anyway, because he's Jayne and it's a bar fight. God, I love that man.
You know, I'm not drunk either. I guess Jayne is just that awesome. :P

Date: 2011-09-08 01:34 am (UTC)Idk why but this made me laugh. Oh nothing to warn for, just anal beads. Though, damn girl, I gotta catch up on my Flist to read that!
kids that young shouldn't be alone at the theater.
They were 7 yrs old - what if they had been kidnapped? Where are their parents?!!
I keep meaning to make a proper Firefly appreciation post but this - scene in the first ep when Kaylee has been shot and Simon has her in the hospital-room-thingy and Jayne is crouching outisde a window, looking so damn worried. That's what melted my heart for him, right there. *sigh* Yes, this is the moment I fell in love with the man. He is kind of rocking back and forth a little too and my heart just busted (probably didn't hurt I had a thing for Adam Baldwin for years before that). Last night was the one where he tried to turn in Simon and River - and at the end, he accepts that Mal is going to throw him out the airlock and all he says is, "Don't tell the others what I done. Make something up. Don't tell them." and my heart just flips in my chest every damn time~!
You know, I'm not drunk either. I guess Jayne is just that awesome. :P
Word, sister. It's stupid how much I am grinning right now just talking about the man.

Date: 2011-09-08 10:25 am (UTC)Hahaha, well, it just felt like there should be all these warnigns, but I couldn't really come up with any. I've written much less dirty things with a lot more warnings.
I have this thing for Adam Baldwin where I call him my stalker, because no matter what show I watch, he inevterably pops up in at least one episode. Bones, SG-1, Independece Day (OK, not a show, but you know, whatever. :P), etc etc. He's my stalker, and I love him for it. :D
Oh God, that scene breaks my heart! His eyes! The look on his face!
Just finished the first ep of Firefly, and GOD, I love that man. He's such a douche sometimes, but I still love him to bits.

Date: 2011-09-13 04:21 am (UTC)True story - watching the movie "Radio Flyer" at about age 14 and most kids my age were all, "Elijah Wood is so cute!" and I really liked Elijah and thought he was fantastic in that (as was Joseph Mazzelo) - but I had this dirty little secret - that every time The King (the evil stepdad who liked to beat the kids) spoke, gave them an order, this thrill went down my spine. I was 14 and he was most definitely not 14 and he beat his kids - so I thought, "Man, that's messed up of me," and never told anyone.
Years later and Independence Day came out and when that scene where Adam Baldwin shoots the alien through the glass and he draws out his gun and I was like, "Holy shit." For years after I called him Independence Day Guy, like that was his name. Then sometime later, proably when I got into Firelfy or when he was The X-Files, I finally looked him up to see where else I might find him.
I am sure you guessed the outcome of this story is that I discovered he was the evil stepdad in Radio Flyer.
He has been following me for years. Or I have been following him for years, either way - stalking is a valid career choice, baby.

Date: 2011-09-13 08:15 am (UTC)Hahaha, awesome! I think at first I just thought he was stalking me because he showed up in both Firefly and Angel, and then he was in SG-1, and I was like "huh, he really is stalking me", and then I realized he was in Independece Day and it was a done deal. Adam Baldwin is my stalker. I like it! :P
I almost have to go watch "Radio Flyer" now, but then I would be stalking him, and how would that look?

Shark Night 3D sounds horrid in so many ways. The dog threw me over to the side of DNW, which I was teetering on re: rape in shark movie.
Falling asleep to Firefly...seems like that would make for pleasant dreams :-)

Date: 2011-09-07 04:45 am (UTC)My fic is up now. Might not be your fandom but it's pretty dirty for me these days, so you might want to check it out anyways. If you feel like pwp.
The actual worst part about Shark Night 3D was that I got bored. It's a movie called "Shark Night 3D", I should in no way be bored. They tried too hard to have a plot. It didn't need a plot, it was called "Shark Night 3D". I will tell you, we didn't realize it right then, but the dog is actually okay. They had this bit throughout where he would swim into the water to fetch a stick, so at the end he saves them all by fetching the giant shark killing spear and bringing it to the guy to kill the shark. So actually the dog saves them. But when they threw him in the water, you had to figure he was about to get eaten. Upsetting for anyone, especially SEVEN YEAR OLD GIRLS! Still dont know what they were doing in the movie theater. It was an attempted rape scene, which I guess means they could keep it below an "R" rating, though I don't know how, because it didn't seem PG13 to me.
I haven't actually dreamed about Firefly yet, but I have fallen asleep thinking up some really great story ideas. Last night I watched the one where the ship was dead in the air and Mal sent them all off - in one shuttle Jayne, Inara, Kaylee and Book - and I got to wondering what if they hadn't come back for Mal and the four of them had ended up off together on some adventure. While Wash, Zoe, River and Simon are off together as well. It's messing around inside my head, that idea is.

Date: 2011-09-07 01:24 am (UTC)Story titles are hard. It took me nearly a month to come up with one for my big bang. I find song lyrics inspire me best. Find the song/s that match the mood and listen hard. (he, he, I said hard)
That's cool that you went to lunch with Cherri and it was a good time. I know you've been wanting to get out more. Hopefully it'll turn in to a thing.
I thought Shark Night 3D was some sort of Discovery Channel program. Shows how in-touch I am with current entertainment.

Date: 2011-09-07 04:59 am (UTC)I almost went with a song lyric..."The Party Doesn't Start Till I Walk In" but I'm fairly happy with what I ended up going with. "The Rules Of Rosenbaum's" will make for a good 'verse title, should I ever decided to do more with it (you and I both know I am too lazy to actually do that, but it sounds good to say anyways).
Actually, you know what ended up happening with Cherri? I missed a Thursday appt and then she was on vacation for two weeks and then I came back, but Kev had her working with somebody else. Then as I was leaving, I was all, "See you next week," cuz I was not coming back again that week, since Kevin was going on vacation. And she was all, "But, I have vacation pictures and gossip! He didn't even let us work together today! That's not fair!" and I basically decided fuck it and asked her if she wanted to grab dinner some night to tell me all about her trip. I wasn't sure she would actually call, but she did and then she said every Thursday her and one of the other aides have lunch, maybe I could do that with them sometime. Which works out good since I probably won't be back to therapy for awhile.
Shark Night 3D was put out by some of the Final Destination team, so it should have been good, but it was not. I wish we had gone seen FD5 again instead. The "I Survived a Shark Attack" type shows on Discovery Channel are way scarier than SN3D was.
PS: This is what we are going to see next at the theaters (http://contagionmovie.warnerbros.com/index.html#/trailer)

Date: 2011-09-07 10:41 am (UTC)every Thursday her and one of the other aides have lunch, maybe I could do that with them sometime. That is pretty cool. Even if you only join them once or twice a month it is expanding your social circle and getting out of the house.
Huh, yeah, you'd think since it was by the some of the same people as Final Destination it would be good. Maybe it was the rookie part of the crew that did it. Or the part that everyone knows never adds much, but you gotta have them on your team anyway and they try to take all the credit.
woops, missed the link. There is no way I could watch that movie. Just watching the trailer makes me wanna go wash my hands. Although, scary enough, in that scenario, I'm one of the first to go because my job brings me in contact with sick people and their specimens every day.

Date: 2011-09-08 12:21 am (UTC)I'm one of the first people to go as well, since I have no immune system. Idk why I love apocalypse movies/books so much, but I do. Something clicked in me when I read The Stand for the first time (age 11) and I've had this thing ever since. Zombie Apocalypse sounds cooler but I think Plague Apocalypse is my favorite (either you go or you don't - nothing you can do either way, far less stressful I think). Idk, I often change my mind on my fav apocalypse scenerio - but it is never Nuclear. That one just blows.
