I want to talk about "Scrubs". More specifically, The Todd.

So, over the last several months, my household has been doing a rewatch of Scrubs. This is one of those shows that we have seen the majority of episodes through reruns...so like all out of order. So now we are watching them in order.

Now anyone who has spent anytime here at my journal is not the least bit surprised that The Todd is my man - (he is my type, after all). In fact, whenever he does anything especially Todd-like, I like to pump my fist in the air and declare, "That's my man," to which someone in the room usually responds, "Not something to be proud of." (Even though, of course, they all love him too).

The more we watch of Scrubs, the more like The Todd I seem to become (which is saying something, since I am already at least halfway there).

Case in point: The BFF has stopped watching Supernatural. But we convinced her to watch the 1944!episode, because come on, Nick Lea and Jensen Ackles in costume porn, peoples. This conversation occurred when she sat down to watch it.

BFF: Oh, I can't help thinking that watching this episode is going to give me All The Feelings.
Me: It will give you all the feelings...In Your Pants! High-Five! /raised my hand for a high five/
Sister: You know how it pains me to say this, but I agree with The Todd over here. It'll give you all the feelings in your pants.

Then the other day, my sister is talking to me about her car maintenance.

Sister: They will fill up your fluids for you for free if they were the last place to service you. So I can just have them top off my power steering fluid anytime I want.
Me: I know you are still talking about your car, but I'm just over here giggling cuz you said, "service you".
Sister: Yes. I said service you. What kind of a high five would you like, Todd? Service high-five? /she humored me and actually held up her hand for a high-five/

Now on the show, Todd wears his "TheToddTime.com" t-shirt and constantly talks about his website - including one time when he told a patient she could go to his website and see what The Todd would look like with girl parts. Uhhuh. I tried to go to the site today but it is no longer accessible. However, someone on youtube saved the video before the site was taken down. I won't embed it here because, well, I fear some of my Flist may have a phobia to banana hammocks, but if you are so inclined, you may go watch it yourself here.

Also, when I went looking for pics of The Todd, I found a series of images of him totally naked with a doctor's clipboard covering his "area". I'll say it again, that's my man.

That's My Man High-Five!

I am appalled at how few The Todd icons there are out there. I found like three and none of him giving a 'high-five'. However, a not-really-surprising number of places I looked at Scrubs icons, also had Jensen Ackles icons. Including some really pretty ones here,, if you want to take a look.

I keep having dreams about The Todd, but they are really in-depth dreams, with plots and everything - so I'll have to save those for a different day.
