My subject line makes me feel like I am writing for TV Guide or something.

Being Human - I enjoy this show a lot. Josh is so freaking cute. But as The BFF pointed out, they do much better when they are together in that house. When the three of them go their own ways, try to do this world without each other, they always end up in trouble. But what I really want to talk about is that thing that happened with Julia...

Holy shit! I did not see that coming. When she got hit by the car, I was so shocked. Of all the things that could have happened to her - she got hit by a car! And then when Josh came back and she was just sitting there on the curb, I thought, "Weird that no paramedics are tending to her but whatever." I was just so surprised to see her alive. And then - BAM! There is her dead body being loaded onto the ambulance. Well played, Being Human!! And seriously, Josh, stop trying to date - it never ends well. If you have to date, try someone who is already dead, like say...Aidan. I also thought the concept of 'werewolf meets eclipse' was really cool.

I can't wait to see what they do for the season finale tonight!

Now Alcatraz...who was watching this show? I enjoyed it. I gave it a shot mostly because I have such a crush on Jorge Garcia. I love him. The rest of the cast is great too - Sam Neill, Parminder Nagra and the new chick who plays the lead. Interesting plots and mythology - like a weekly crime drama meets genre sci-fi - a good combination. But it didn't hit its true potential until the season finale.

They killed Madsen!! OMG!! She is the fucking lead and they killed her!! Those are some big-ass balls you got there, Alcatraz!! I am truly blown away!! It was going along at a nice pace, but nothing overly unexpected had happened and then...just WOW. Now it has my interest in a big, big way. And I am thinking she might really be dead even though as a genre show they could bring her back with 'sci-fi whatever'. My reasoning: a) the doctor called her time of death, b) the one person who might have been able to 'sci-fi' her back into her body (Sam Neill) wasn't even there and c) she was in a county hospital and not in the Alcatraz medical facility where they might be able to do some futuristic whatchamacallit on her body. I think she is gone and that leads me to wonder who will be Soto's partner next season? Will he even stick around without Madsen being there? I just can't get over the fucking courage it took to kill off their lead. I hope they don't handwave her back to life next year, even though I really liked her.

And finally, Breaking In...

Who noticed that Mel (Odette) was gone from the opening credits this last episode? I know she 'left' in the episode before but Oz told her to come back when she was ready, so I thought the actress must have gotten a movie or something that conflicted and since they were picked back up at the last second, she is probably going to shoot something else and come back. But if that were the case, would they have taken her out of the opening credits? I don't think so. I can't believe she is gone. Bad enough we lost Michael Rosenbaum because Fox dragged their fucking feet on reordering it. They had the perfect formula last season and I hate that the network made them fuck with it. I am pissed that Mel is gone.

Still, I want to marry Cash and have his geektard little babies. Omg, I love him so much! Who wouldn't want to go on a date where the guy's opening date question is, "If Superman and Wonder Woman had a baby, what would its super power be?" Clearly it could fly, right?

That is all.
