HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BILBO & FRODO!! It's that wonderful time of year again. The time for mathoms and tea and Gandalf's fireworks and those pesky Sackville-Baggins raiding our pantry! Happy birthday to the Ringbearers!

In other news, I made a Tumblr. /throws my hands in the air/ I know! I know! Don't even...just, yeah. I'll probably have more to say about this rabbit hole in a few days, when I've tried it out more. But in the meantime, if you are a LJ peep of mine and you have a tumblr, you can follow me - (I am dodger-sister there - here) and then drop me a comment in this post and tell me your tumblr name, so I know it's you and I can follow you back - (my plan is to only really follow my LJ peeps over there, don't wanna clog my dash up too much, in some ridiculous attempt to not suck all my time - shut up, I hear you all laughing at my naïve innocence). So that's a thing I did.

I have tumblr. I never use it. I didn't add anyone to follow. I don't even remember what I called it.

Oh no, never! Firstly, I'd never get a Twitter because I don't have texting on my phone (or a smart phone or anything other than an emergency use cellphone only) and it kind of negates the whole point if you don't do it from your phone. Also, I have been spending two hours a day on Tumblr for the last 6 months and it never kept me away from LJ or you, bb! I am only going to use it when I am in bed for the night, just like I do now. It takes my body so long to relax every night and this is something I can do to fill the time. I am still going to do all my blogging on LJ and no Tumblring until I have done my checklist for the day! I know those goals may still go out the window but LJ is a much better platform for socializing - honestly Idk how people actually socialize on Tumblr, it's not set up for that very well - and LJ is better for blogging in general. Tumblr is all about visuals.

Don't worry, LJ is still my baby!!

I just enjoy scrolling through the tags of whatever catches my fancy that day. After The Hobbit came out, I spent a week just scrolling through 'the hobbit' tag and looking at all the pretty pictures. But Tumblr is not a very good set-up for socializing or blogging, it's more about visuals.

So far I can't connect my tumblr on my phone (where I originally set it up) to my computer, so I was thinking I wouldn't be able to post my costume,but then I've thought I can put the pictures on instergram and cross post that way!! Halloween spam is always awesome!! I have that problem from my IPad to LJ (LJ won't recognize my camera roll app) so I have to email the pics to myself and then open them on my desktop. :(

Oh yeah, I think we are a bit above the average age on Tumblr, for sure. lol I mostly think it'll be a great place to circulate my art, if I ever get off my ass and start posting any.
