So, Tuesday the 13th is my LJ anniversary! The day, four years ago, when I made my first official LJ post! I usually like to do something on that day to celebrate - special fic, a fandom meme, let you guys ask me questions, whatever. But this year since I'm still feeling so under the weather, I was hoping you guys could help me out. I remember seeing (and answering on some of my friends' journals) a meme about 'name five things that you relate to me' and I really liked it. Maybe you guys could answer with five things that make you think of me and I can post all the answers on the 13th! (I've got a dr's appt that day, but this should be fun and easy enough!). So let's celebrate my anniversary! Come and play!

I'll even respond back to you with my top 5 things that I associate with you...once I actually get around to answering comments. (I'll take this opportunity to say I appreciate all the 'get well' wishes and comments you guys have been leaving me! You're the best!)

As it so happens, the 13th is also The Nephew's birthday...he'll be eight! It doesn't seem like that long ago that he was playing with his imaginary dog, Zoom Zoom, and telling me stories about what he did that day with his brother, Iceman, and now he's eight! My little man!

Five Things I Associate With You

Goofy/awesome conversations: I love it so much when our LJ conversations go in random directions, sometimes educational and sometimes hilarious or horrifying!

Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit: It's pretty great to share a love of such well-adapted books to the screen (LoTR more so than The Hobbit, where they added so much stuff), especially when there are so many pretty men in them for sighing and sometimes slashing.

Shows we squee about: Especially when it comes to TWD and AoS, every week I'm excited to see what you have to say about the episodes, and the characters, and the sick things the writers do to torment them and us.

Awesome surprises in the mail: you're super thoughtful and sweet, and when you send a card or gift it's always perfect, and perfectly uplifting.

Beta reading: I don't do it for anyone's stories but you, babe. *hugs*

Spike and Dawn and/or Spike/Dawn.
The Walking Dead - omg, I need to post about my awesome TWD dream soon!
Teaching.
Rogue and Gambit and/or Rogue/Gambit.
Houses in the woods. Like seriously, people will be talking about how they want to buy land and build a a house in the country and I always think of your place and how awesome it's going to be.

Wait...that was five. But, TAHtm and apocalypse survival and writing and teen!vengers and science!bros and 1am insanity and...yeah, lots of things make me think of you!

Yep. This. This is what I think of when I think of our friendship, especially how it took off so quickly, was because of these conversations.

1 - Hobbits. Because I like me some hobbits, same as the next nerd, but JFC, you won't shut up about 'em! And I mean in a good way, the same way I won't shut up about Chuck Heston (to anyone outside the computer).

2 - Hyper-organization. Because you actually keep track of how many words you write, and when, and in what fandoms, where I'm all... I probably wrote something... once... or maybe twice. And then wrote something... else...

3 - Dean/Cas. Because you're one of the only people left here on LJ who like those two and you wrote the cutest fic that one time, where awesome!John has 'the talk' with Dean and gets all flustered when Dean asks what goes where with dudes :) (At least, I hope that was you. If not... eee, sorry!)

4 - South Park. Because you have relatives from Canada. And you blame them.

5 - NKOTB. Again... not sure if this was you, but I feel like it was you, who wrote a fanfic where Donnie Wahlberg married your mom...

Angel fic. (The first fic of yours I ever read at all was a Wesley/Lindsey fic. And I specifically remember a huge fic I read of yours that was Giles/Lindsey that I loved, whenever I need good Giles fic I come to your journal)
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. (You have this icon that delights me every damn time it comes across my dash. Now I can't hear about this movie without thinking of you).
Wincest. (Not my general thing, but your How To Date Your Brother series will always be in my top list of alltime fics.)

2-Kitties!-Your kitties, and how they're part of your home and life.

Middle Earth. (whether that's New Zealand itself or actual Middle Earth and related things, but the rolling green hills of the country make me think of you.)

First off, of course, is Hobbits and then weirdly enough is Chloe from Smallville, but only season one or two Chloe, cos in my head that's what you look like.

OMG, that is what I look like!!!!! I mean, Hollywood!Me is Alison Lohman (see my default icon) but if it weren't her, Ali Mack would be choice #2. I like those kind of friendships where you can not talk for like two months and then randomly spew word vomit all over each other like no time has passed at all. It'd be cool to get together in RL sometime, but also I can see us maintaining this exact level of communication and friendship for the next 20 years and you'd still be one of my best friends!

(do you have an IPhone by chance? I can't text on my free phone that is on my Dad's plan but I have recently discovered that using my IPad I can text to anyone with an iPhone or IPad, so if you have an IPhone, we can randomly text each other whenever we hear a good song or whenever we think of funny fic plot or something).
