I Am In Love With The Beiste!

I thought I wouldn't find my Christmas Spirit until ABC Family gives me Chad Michael Murray in scrubs on Sunday night. If Christmas Spirit is an innuendo for something else. ;)



The Glee episode of Christmas delight was awesomecakes!

I have not said anything about Glee in a while because both the Beiste storyline, and especially the Kurt being bullied and having his life threatened storyline have opened some old wounds that have made it hard for me to process my thoughts into a post.

Despite that I mostly just want to squee about the music and the dancing and The Puck!!!

But THIS - the kids singing The Island of Misfit Toys!!! OMG. And Sue as The Grinch and the whole plot - seriously, the best plotted episode of the season. How fricking adorable was Becky?! If I had time, I would go hunt down an icon of her in that reindog outfit.

Brittany in her Little Cindy Lou Who outfit - squee.

And Schue was so happy to see Kurt - I made a squeaky noise of delight over Schue, you peoples! For serious!

And The Beiste - omg!! I am totally in love.

Also, I DID NOT CRY!! I didn't.

Except that I totally did.

What has become of me? My sister was on the other side of the room - I don't think she noticed. It started with the kids singing the Who-ville song from The Grinch. But to make myself sound more cool, or less cool maybe - it wasn't Glee that made me cry, it was that song. I cry every time they sing that at the end of The Grinch cartoon and the Grinch soars down the mountain and everyone holds hands and I love that stupid song - SHUT UP!!

Then I cried again, maybe, when Artie stood up. Mostly because of the look on everyone's faces, especially Brittany's, and of course, THE BEISTE!!

DID YOU ALL SEE THE LOOK ON PUCK'S FACE WHEN ARTIE STARTED WALKING??? DID YOU?!! HE LOVES HIS BOY SO DAMN MUCH - THEY ARE BESTEST BEST FRIENDS FOREVAH!!

In sum: I had this whole crazy image in my head of The Beiste and Schue and Sue all getting drunk together on Christmas Eve and watching Love Actually and then crying.

Youtube has failed me - I tried to find the Glee-Misfit Toys song video for you, but they only have the music, not the video. Boo that.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who teared up a little. I made The BFF watch it and she was wiping her eyes and I was like, "Are you crying?" and she said, "Yes, dammit!" and I went, "Oh thank god I'm not the only one." lol

Hee, I found the whole episode and made my husband watch with me. He said, "I have to go to the optometrist." I said, "Why, are your eyes broken again?" (it's a silly little in-joke with us--) And he said, "yeah, they're leaking." Teary eyed for the win!
