I am so excited right now. MICHAEL ROSENBAUM'S NEW SHOW JUST POPPED ON MY TIVO! heehee.

Then I went to look it up and see what it was about and OMG YOU GUYS, BRET HARRISON IS IN IT!! I have missed his wee face so hard! (I was all conflicted over using a Michael Rosenbaum icon or a Reaper icon cuz, cuz...Bret Harrison! Then I realized this icon is from this actual show, so...)

Like I have been waiting for this forever (Translate: about 9 months). Michael kept teasing that he was doing something with Adam Goldberg - Adam Goldberg, you guys! - and then nothing happened and I was like, "Rosenbaum, you whore tease!" Seriously, I made this icon of this screencap from the pilot in May!

It also stars Christian Slater and seems to be a comedy that is slightly Leverage/The Office with that Reaper sense of humor. I base this assessment on nothing except the scraps of this show that I could find on youtube. The BFF informs me through trustworthy entertainment news sources that Michael was only suppose to be in the pilot, but everyone loved the character so much that they made him a cast regular. Yay! Which I am sure was Adam Goldberg's intention from the start - he's cool like that. As in Adam Sandler, cuz it also appears to be a Happy Madison production!

Here, watch this!

Here is a slightly longer one that gives slightly more plot, if you actually want to know the plot.

ALSO - OMG YOU GUYS! CHAOS ALSO POPPED ON MY TIVO! I have been waiting for this show for like AT LEAST 18 MONTHS!! It stars Freddy Rodriguez - omg his wee sexy self! - and Eric Close - I want to touch his hair so bad! - and it is about ROGUE CIA AGENTS!!!! I needed Martin Eric Close back on my TV on a regular basis ever since Without a Trace went off the air. Granted, I would have preferred Eric and Enrique Murciano as private investigators who investigate the supernatural, but this is good too. It looks pretty awesome and hysterical. Also, it has Tim Blake Nelson!

Here, see this trailer!

OH, TV, THANK YOU FOR THIS BOUNTIFUL FEAST!!

"Breaking In" premieres next Wednesday, the 6th at 9:30 on Fox.
"Chaos" premieres on Friday, the 1st at 8pm on CBS.

IKNOWIKNOWIKNOW - DIDYOUSEEHIM????? OMGOMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Um, I mean...Are you okay? Did you fall out of your chair and hit your head?

I did watch Smallville on occasion - Jensen's eps, James Marsters eps, that couple of months I was on morphine and it actually made more sense than usual. But mostly, I just tuned in to the last ten minutes before SPN came on - that was when they would do the "emo main-pain crying in the rain thinking about Clark Kent while wearing his trenchcoat" Lex Luthor music vids - and you know, I sometimes think that Michael Rosenbaum guy is attractive.

Breaking In actually looks like something I would watch regardless of Michael's involvement - which just makes me even more excited.

If that is possible.

ROOOOOOSEY! YOUR FACE!!! MY MONKEY!!

PS: Was not shocked that you and [livejournal.com profile] anyothergirl415 were the first people to jump on this post. lol

Did you see the first episode of Camelot? All those beautiful men....

You are welcome.

I was planning on checking out "Breaking In" for Michael Rosenbaum, but I was surprised to find it looks like something I will enjoy beyond just his face on my TV. It looks like my kind of comedy.

And "Chaos" I heard about because of Eric Close, but as soon as I heard the premise, I was instantly excited. I love that it looks like a blend of action and comedy and if they manage to work in that "my team is my family" theme, I will be a very happy girl. I am so excited about "Chaos", in fact, that I think I might watch it in Real Time and not like on the Tivo. Sssshhhh, don't tell my Tivo.

I just saw a trailer for Camelot at the theater last weekend. Joseph Fiennes, right? I was very interested (went through a Arthurian phase when I was about 19) but I don't have Starz. And I don't think they stream their shows - though the internet tells me that I can get it through Netflix but only after a 90 day delay. But everyone will be talking about it right now!

Did you see the posting where someone posted a link to where you can watch Camelot? http://www.sidereel.com/Camelot/season-1/episode-1/search

I downloaded it, so I haven't tried this, but let me know if it works for you.

I watched the first 10 minutes of Chaos, but I don't think it is for me.

So I watched Camelot and I LOVED it. Morgan was delicious and something about her man, Lot - (though I am calling him her kept man because he totally is) - I found very interesting, like the dynamics of their relationship. Also, Claire Forlani as Igraine - I love her, so that was a delight. And Kay, who I was crossing my fingers from the second he came on screen, that he would be a regular. But mostly, it was all about Merlin - I was torn between wanting to jump him and wanting to tell him to shut his stupid pie hole. He was so manipulative of Arthur, but was so good at doing it. Anyway, I'm very excited.

I was not impressed with "Chaos" either but I figure my loyalty to Eric Close earns him a couple more episodes before I throw it in. I am hoping it just was having 'set-up' problems. We shall see.

LJ is spazzing out again and I am taking the precaution of writing this all out in notepad and then pasting it into comments in case the text mysteriously disappears again.

Yes, my message yesterday was mainly about The Stand. We share a mutual love for the book, but I also really liked the miniseries. I'd be reluctant for a remake, unless it was about 12-weeks long and included everything in the book that had been left out of the first production. Oh, and as long as it didn't include Laura san Giawhatever her name is, whom I ABHOR as an actress.

So glad you liked Camelot -- I'm happy to have someone to squee over that with. And, yes, Merlin's manipulation was both aggravating and obvious, but he is a handsome devil (even though his eyes are set too closely together). So much slash potential there. I think Kay might end up being my hero.

Tonight I watch "Breaking In." I downloaded it last night but instead of watching, read the last part of rhythmsextion's QB verse. So great. Makes me love football all over again.

It's getting so ridiculous- on the one hand, I support Russia's free speech - on the other hand, I want to read porn now!

I was not as disappointed in The Stand miniseries as some things I have seen adaptated. I think the casting was done well...the only major complaint was I felt The Walking Dude wasn't that good. They just cut so much of it out and smushed some characters together and I am used to the unabridged version, so you can guess I had certain scenes I really missed. (also imagine what they could do with it now, with the kind of money that cable stations put into miniseries) - but yeah, definitely needs to be a Band of Brothers style in length - 12 hours.

I've seen the second episode of Camelot now - I am so upset and excited and like hand-clappy. I don't want to say, in case you haven't seen it - but major character thingies and also, my god, Merlin whispering in Arthur's ear all the time is just so delicious and infuriating at once!

hahaha, everyone talks about this J2 'verse and I feel like I should read it even though I can't stand football. :)

Also - Ector is my hero for forever!

Woohoo!! I'm very excited for both these shows!! They are programed into the dvr and now all I need to do is wait :D

I'm hoping Hawaii 5-O broke my streak of picking new shows that don't last more than a season. (Unusuals and New Amsterdam are the two I miss most)

I'm, of course, gonna be behind in the watching. :( The Brat, I mean The Boy, said he wants to watch 'em too, so don't watch till he comes back from his dad's in a week.

I watched "Chaos" tonight and it wasn't overly spectacular, but I reminded myself that most pilot episodes are still working out the kinks, setting up the characters and plots. Normally I give a show at least three episodes before I quit it. Given that it has both Freddy Rodriguez and my boy, Eric Close - I will give Chaos at least five episodes before I decide.

I am usually 50/50 on picking shows that last. It's just that the ones I really, really love, are usually the ones that get axed. If I say the words, "This is my favorite new show of the season," then I automatically just cursed that show to fail.

I love how much The Boy likes to watch TV with you. :)

Shit. How long am I going to have to wait before I too can see this? - It's gonna be like that christmas movie with Chad-in-scrubs that you posted about, isn't it? kicking around my brain months from now, all frustrated that I just can't get my hands on it. ugh. -_-

I am assuming you mean the Michael Rosenbaum show, baby. Okay, well it was pretty funny. Very fast paced and they took all of two minutes to set it up and then they were off and running with a crime caper. He was not in it very much, but he will officially join the team next episode. Give it a few days, I am sure the internet will provide for you.

On the Chad movie - you saw all the best parts in the screencaps of him in the scrubs, let me tell you. Because I expected it to be bad, in the way that ABC Family movies are so bad they are kind of entertaining - but it was just like actually bad. Like I think we were suppose to want him to end up with the chick, but she was such a bad human being with no redeeming qualities that when it was over, I felt like crying for him that he had to end up with her. I actually rewrote the end in a cathertic release for myself because I was so frustrated at the horrible awfulness of it.

If that makes you feel better.

BTW, did you know Chad got a twitter? The internets told me so.

And in other news - I dreamed about you last night. We were about ten years old and I was having a slumber party and all my ten year old friends were there and you and I. We were in my old childhood home, in our pjs and we put a movie into the old VCR that we had when I was a kid. Only the movie was gay porn. The other girls were appalled. You and I were happy. Then afterwards we decided to ditch them all and hang out in my room and I was very excited for you to see all my movie posters. IDEK, baby, clearly I was excited to hear from you and also, thinking about gay porn. Erm.

FINALLY I have found that one comment I knew I was supposed to have replied to ages ago! *flaps hands* I swear, my digital organizational habits are a MESS. But putting all that aside:

I still haven't had time to look up Mike's new show _ I'mma finish Community first, but then I will look. I have NEVER actually had him on my tv (two seasons of Smallville that were broadcasted at 1.30 am don't count), so it's about time.

Aw... that's a shame. Well, at least we'll always have A Cinderella Story? Which is kinda bad too, but so gooooooood that I'm totally unashamedly in love with it. I might still look for more pics from the terrible no good movie though, just for the reference pics.

And no, I didn't know Chad got a twitter! But figures, I guess? Everyone and their dog has one now - even I've been thinking about it. Even if it's just to make sure my name can't be taken by anyone else...

OH LOL, you and your dreams. That does kinda sound like us, though, doesn't it? Y'know... if we were to ever go out into the real world together, which would maybe not be a wise thing to do... But I will always want to see your movie poster collection ;)

Also, I had a fandom-related dream a while back too. It was after I read twoskeleton's fic from the Mishalecki exchange, which is a mafia AU. The dream was in that verse, and had Rob & Sebastian playing poker at Danneel's place and calling each other names, and it was.. confusing, yet highly entertaining. I think Rob lost his car to sebastian in the end? (he needed a new one, see, cuz Misha and Jared stole his baby). and yes, that should make sense if you read the fic, which you should totally do, cause it's awesome.

I haven't watched any Community but I'm tuning in for the season finale cuz my boy Josh Holloway is gonna be on it!

I've never seen all of A Cinderella Story for some reason. Just bits and pieces on Disney channel. I should though, I always liked Hilary Duff. (that's who is in that movie right?) I also still haven't seen all of Freaky Friday (just Chad's bits) but that is in our Netflix que because my sister actually wants to watch it too. Also, we are Netflixing Summer Catch which we have seen but now we know who Christian Kane is, so we have to watch it again.

I checked out Chad's twitter but he is just a polite young man, so...boring. Fiction is so much more interesting. He did post a pic of his dog, Joe, though. Which makes me think about that Chad/JDM fic that had all their dogs in it. /sigh/ Chad/JDM, why did I never write any of you.

When I was ten, my walls were papered with Teen Beat pages of the Phoenix brothers (mostly River, I used to be a River girl so hard) and yeah, New Kids on The Block (what? All the other kids were doing it!)

Jared and Misha probably had to "borrow" Rob's car - to go to Mexico and get sombros and surfboards or something equally crazy. And then it makes total sense that Rob would get a new car and Sebastian would take it in a poker game. That dream makes total sense to me.

Ok, something went massively wrong after I edited some html, so let's try this again:

I heard something about the Community season finale being another paintball war? but I'm not sure.. Though if it is, the first one was awesome :)

You... WHAT?! How have you never seen A Cinderella Story?! It's on par with Bring It On for my favorite "Teen Queen" movies. You, young lady, need to be downloading and watching it right now. Here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=R75Z5J1P And yeah, it's with Hilary Duff - I kinda have a thing for her too - and anyway, it's a movie that's just stupid enough to be incredibly entertaining and sweet. I have not seen Summer Catch, but Chris is on the list of people who's imdb list I will scour for movies during summer, so maybe soon.

Chad & polite young man are two terms that don't mesh well in my head since I got in this fandom... We are ruining his rep, we are. If you're looking for a a rather more entertaining twitter though, check out Seb Roche's account - cause man, that's one camwhoring SOB, and somehow he gets everyone to go along with it (my fav picture he posted is this one (http://yfrog.com/z/gzzlghnj) of Jared).
Also, wait what... Chad/JDM?! That... is weirder than the Chad/Chris I ran into the other day. huh.

Heh. When I was 10, I had this one poster of a dutch band called "Twarres (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=366zTb-2VbI&feature=related)" on my wall (alternatively, English songs: 1 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfD8xLw0blU), 2 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBn7twa8VMw), 3 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SD31YDQU7Z8)) and an art print with a cat... that is all. I had a brief period around 14 that I had all my walls papered with photos of musicians, but now that I think of it... never any actors.
Stand By Me used to be one of my favorites movies though & I have had massive respect for Joaquin since Walk The Line came out... but I don't even know what NKOTB is, apart from having heard of it. I vaguely do remember Degrassi though :P

Actually... Misha stole Seb's Maserati because he didn't like Jared's car. So Seb wanted a replacement; Rob's car, because Rob totally drove some awesome classic. But I like your version too! (THIS (http://twoskeletons.livejournal.com/179213.html) is the fic I meant, btw)

Your icon makes me happy-face.

I just checked and our Netflix que has Cinderella Story in it, yay! Then I spent a half hour rearranging our Netflix que, lol. I like Hilary Duff - I maybe did or didn't watch Lizzie McGuire back in the day, i did. Summer Catch is cute and fun - predictable but with some awesome side characters on the baseball team. Plus, guys in sports uniforms. What's not to like?

I think Chad maybe has a PR person monitoring his tweets because I have heard the commentaries on One Tree Hill and that's the Chad I know and love. <3 I have heard Seb is a whore! I actually heard he was Misha 2.0 but I don't believe that. I saw that picture of Jared and I thought he didn't look pleased that Seb was taking a picture of his CROTCH! lol (in the pic I saw though, it was cut and I didn't realize that Jensen was taking a nap behind him - that is what Jensen is doing there, right?)

Honestly, I just don't have time to read twitters these days. I miss all the good stuff unless fandom points it out to me. I did see Steve and Jensen at the renansaince fair though. 8)

Chad/JDM makes total sense. I read this great fic where JDM was kind of messed up after a bad break up and Chad had never had more than a one night stand with a guy and they kept fucking things up and yet, it was so perfect. Chad was still a douche but less over-the-top and JDM wasn't so I'm-in-charge like he often is in fic - I loved it and came up with great story ideas for this pairing that I just never wrote. Also, the few other CMM/JDM fics I found after that did not compare. I guess I got the best one right out the gate.

That guy's hair in that video! Love it!

I had a subscription to Tean Beat, so I had lots of pictures ripped out of magazines on my wall at age ten. I fell in love with River Phoenix from Stand By Me and Mosquito Coast and Running On Empty. I read every interview he ever did. I was absolutely crushed when he died. I remember my sister sitting me down to talk to me and tell me about it. I thought, "What is going on? Why is she crying? Why does she want to talk to me in my room?" :(

I had a little kid type crush on Joaquin in Space Camp and then a bigger crush from Parenthood the movie. Then years later I was in the theater watching Gladiator and i was like, "How is this incestuous psycho so hot? I hope he kills the gladiator and marries his sister." When we left everyone I was with was all, "Russell Crowe!!" so I kept my mouth shut. Only later did I realize it was Leif Phoenix from my childhood. I've been pretty much in love with him every since that movie. Walk the Line, god, his sing and his acting - I can't believe he put so much into that movie of his soul that he had a nervous breakdown over it, but lord - tell me you have heard the soundtrack, baby. And of course, Signs, love that movie. I rec you also watch him in Inventing The Abbotts. Hotel Rwanda is next in our Netflix que. That also has Don Cheadle, so double bonus.

New Kids On The Block was the original boyband (unless you count The Monkeys) Before NSYNC or Backstreet Boys, was NKOTB. Do you know the actor Donnie Wahlberg, ever seen him in anything? He used to be in NKOTB. Evidence of my tweenage musical taste - The Right Stuff (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbIEwIwYz-c) - and Hangin Tough (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZusIOLDRs8).

Edited because I know how to code things - sure I do.
