I am so excited right now. MICHAEL ROSENBAUM'S NEW SHOW JUST POPPED ON MY TIVO! heehee.

Then I went to look it up and see what it was about and OMG YOU GUYS, BRET HARRISON IS IN IT!! I have missed his wee face so hard! (I was all conflicted over using a Michael Rosenbaum icon or a Reaper icon cuz, cuz...Bret Harrison! Then I realized this icon is from this actual show, so...)

Like I have been waiting for this forever (Translate: about 9 months). Michael kept teasing that he was doing something with Adam Goldberg - Adam Goldberg, you guys! - and then nothing happened and I was like, "Rosenbaum, you whore tease!" Seriously, I made this icon of this screencap from the pilot in May!

It also stars Christian Slater and seems to be a comedy that is slightly Leverage/The Office with that Reaper sense of humor. I base this assessment on nothing except the scraps of this show that I could find on youtube. The BFF informs me through trustworthy entertainment news sources that Michael was only suppose to be in the pilot, but everyone loved the character so much that they made him a cast regular. Yay! Which I am sure was Adam Goldberg's intention from the start - he's cool like that. As in Adam Sandler, cuz it also appears to be a Happy Madison production!

Here, watch this!

Here is a slightly longer one that gives slightly more plot, if you actually want to know the plot.

ALSO - OMG YOU GUYS! CHAOS ALSO POPPED ON MY TIVO! I have been waiting for this show for like AT LEAST 18 MONTHS!! It stars Freddy Rodriguez - omg his wee sexy self! - and Eric Close - I want to touch his hair so bad! - and it is about ROGUE CIA AGENTS!!!! I needed Martin Eric Close back on my TV on a regular basis ever since Without a Trace went off the air. Granted, I would have preferred Eric and Enrique Murciano as private investigators who investigate the supernatural, but this is good too. It looks pretty awesome and hysterical. Also, it has Tim Blake Nelson!

Here, see this trailer!

OH, TV, THANK YOU FOR THIS BOUNTIFUL FEAST!!

"Breaking In" premieres next Wednesday, the 6th at 9:30 on Fox.
"Chaos" premieres on Friday, the 1st at 8pm on CBS.

You are welcome.

I was planning on checking out "Breaking In" for Michael Rosenbaum, but I was surprised to find it looks like something I will enjoy beyond just his face on my TV. It looks like my kind of comedy.

And "Chaos" I heard about because of Eric Close, but as soon as I heard the premise, I was instantly excited. I love that it looks like a blend of action and comedy and if they manage to work in that "my team is my family" theme, I will be a very happy girl. I am so excited about "Chaos", in fact, that I think I might watch it in Real Time and not like on the Tivo. Sssshhhh, don't tell my Tivo.

I just saw a trailer for Camelot at the theater last weekend. Joseph Fiennes, right? I was very interested (went through a Arthurian phase when I was about 19) but I don't have Starz. And I don't think they stream their shows - though the internet tells me that I can get it through Netflix but only after a 90 day delay. But everyone will be talking about it right now!

Did you see the posting where someone posted a link to where you can watch Camelot? http://www.sidereel.com/Camelot/season-1/episode-1/search

I downloaded it, so I haven't tried this, but let me know if it works for you.

I watched the first 10 minutes of Chaos, but I don't think it is for me.

So I watched Camelot and I LOVED it. Morgan was delicious and something about her man, Lot - (though I am calling him her kept man because he totally is) - I found very interesting, like the dynamics of their relationship. Also, Claire Forlani as Igraine - I love her, so that was a delight. And Kay, who I was crossing my fingers from the second he came on screen, that he would be a regular. But mostly, it was all about Merlin - I was torn between wanting to jump him and wanting to tell him to shut his stupid pie hole. He was so manipulative of Arthur, but was so good at doing it. Anyway, I'm very excited.

I was not impressed with "Chaos" either but I figure my loyalty to Eric Close earns him a couple more episodes before I throw it in. I am hoping it just was having 'set-up' problems. We shall see.

LJ is spazzing out again and I am taking the precaution of writing this all out in notepad and then pasting it into comments in case the text mysteriously disappears again.

Yes, my message yesterday was mainly about The Stand. We share a mutual love for the book, but I also really liked the miniseries. I'd be reluctant for a remake, unless it was about 12-weeks long and included everything in the book that had been left out of the first production. Oh, and as long as it didn't include Laura san Giawhatever her name is, whom I ABHOR as an actress.

So glad you liked Camelot -- I'm happy to have someone to squee over that with. And, yes, Merlin's manipulation was both aggravating and obvious, but he is a handsome devil (even though his eyes are set too closely together). So much slash potential there. I think Kay might end up being my hero.

Tonight I watch "Breaking In." I downloaded it last night but instead of watching, read the last part of rhythmsextion's QB verse. So great. Makes me love football all over again.

It's getting so ridiculous- on the one hand, I support Russia's free speech - on the other hand, I want to read porn now!

I was not as disappointed in The Stand miniseries as some things I have seen adaptated. I think the casting was done well...the only major complaint was I felt The Walking Dude wasn't that good. They just cut so much of it out and smushed some characters together and I am used to the unabridged version, so you can guess I had certain scenes I really missed. (also imagine what they could do with it now, with the kind of money that cable stations put into miniseries) - but yeah, definitely needs to be a Band of Brothers style in length - 12 hours.

I've seen the second episode of Camelot now - I am so upset and excited and like hand-clappy. I don't want to say, in case you haven't seen it - but major character thingies and also, my god, Merlin whispering in Arthur's ear all the time is just so delicious and infuriating at once!

hahaha, everyone talks about this J2 'verse and I feel like I should read it even though I can't stand football. :)

Also - Ector is my hero for forever!
