Remember how I put up the pics of my tattoo and was all talking about my friend tringic, who took the design and made it perfect for me, because she is Made of Awesome and an amazing artist? Remember that?

Well...she also made me M2 ART!! Because apparently the one year anniversary is the paper anniversary, while the 1 & 1/2 year anniversary is the MICHAEL/MISHA anniversary!!!

They're celebrating naked in bed! I'm just gonna pretend that's my bed, okay? Cool. Things I want to lick in this picture include, but are not limited to, Michael's lips and Misha's clavicle.

NEVILLE LONGBOTTOM WINS EVERYTHING!!

I went at 8pm on opening night and the crowd was great. Besides the very end, the crowd also burst into spontaneous applause and cheering at two major points. The first time was when Molly killed Bellatrix. No one had barely made a sound the whole viewing, and then suddenly, like one collective entity, everyone started cheering and clapping. It was awesome. So by the time Neville took the head off the snake, the crowd was ready to erupt. It's why I like opening nights so much. I wish they had torn George apart a little more over Fred but I understand why they didn't show more of that - because they weren't making the movie solely for me, but whatever.

I don't know how I got into M2. I think I read queenklu's J2 fic that had a M2 sequel and I was like, "Um, what?" but then I read the fic anyways, queenklu's "A Certain Sense of Synergy Between Yourself and Me". After that I found the M2 community and read this excellent argument (http://m2-homegoods.livejournal.com/1036.html) on why the pairing works, despite the guys never having met in real life (to anyone's knowledge) and I was sold from that point on. Next I read anyothergirl415's Quotable series and after that, I just joined the M2 community and hit the ground running from there.

What was the fic you read? I am always up for more M2. ;)

The fourth HP book was my favorite and they butchered the movie so bad - (well, the fourth was my favorite until the last two, now I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite, but I really loved Goblet) - and I just started bracing myself for them all to suck after that. I mean, the first movie was almost exactly the book and it was sweet and cute (and honestly I hadn't read the book when I saw the first movie, though I went and read all the books after my movie-viewing). And the second was okay, but that book wasn't my favorite anyways. The third was so vastly different than the others but I really loved the movie-style the director went with, plus Lupin owns my heart. The fourth was my favorite book and the movie was awful, so I didn't expect much anymore.

But I gotta say, the 7th movie (part 1) was unbelievably good - the actors brought so much to it. It was dark and intense and they didn't cut too much out of it, which always makes me happy. It was kind of epic, I have to say. But you sound more hardcore about the books than I am, so as always, brace yourself going in - but do give the last two movies a chance.

Tom Felton was an adorable little kid and then he went through this really awkward teenage phase where he just did not look quite right. I think maybe he has finally grown out of it!!

Ok so I searched everywhere for the fic I read and I finally found it and I was like 'yess success! found it!' but then realised it was the Quotable series you mentioned. omg I suck. *mega facepalm*
So, yeah that's the only M2 fic I've read, and to be honest probably ever will unless the plot really appeals to me. I read the post you mentioned and I dunno, different strokes for different folks I guess lol.

yeah I have to admit the last 2 books kicked ass so its hard to pick a favorite, but at the time I loved the fifth one :)
I think I made peace with the fact that I had to view the movies and books as separate, but I just gave up and watched them on DVD lol.

Definitely going to give the last 2 movies a chance, and a little excited tbh :D

hahaha Okay, first, I am friends with the author of the Quotable 'verse and I had to tell her this story - about me saying the Quotable 'verse got me hooked on M2 and you saying you had a rec for me and then being all, "Nevermind, it was the Quotable 'verse" - she was so tickled and laughed so hard to hear tbat story. Totally made her day.

Also, Mike & Misha took over Sweden!! Awesome. I've always thought Sweden would be a good place to live - so I'm down with moving there! I hadn't read that one yet. Sadly though, I had read all the recs on that rec list except one. I have read way too much M2, lol. But I am excited to have found one I haven't read yet, so I tagged it!!

I saw this thing recently where someone was seriously saying they convinced their church group that Misha was the anti-christ. All I could think was, "If Misha takes over the world for real and turns out to be the anti-christ...I'm pretty okay with that."
