First, for those of you wondering - Papa Bear is home and doing a little better. They redrew his labs and his kidney levels are just below normal, which is better than they were. On the downside, he is still pathetically clingy to me and does not want to interact with the other cats. On the upside, for awhile if you put food right in front of his face, he wouldn't even look at it - and now he is coming and telling me when he wants to eat! They are going to give him once-a-week injections which we can do at home starting next week and we will just take it one week at a time. He is improving, now he just has to keep improving. But he and I feel much better. Thank you for all your good wishes.

On the writing front, I was working on a birthday fic for [livejournal.com profile] wolfrider89 and I got kind of stalled out when my cat got sick. Which is a shame since it was just flowing out of me like madness. But I plan on jumping back on that one this week. I wanted to post it before the end of the month, but that's a no-go, so I need to post something. It's almost the end of the month and I have only posted one story so far. Lame. I'm going to pull something from my Finished Folder, but I can't decide what. Anything in particular you guys want to see?

I need to make a full-on post about all of my returning shows - (all four of my network regular season shows came back last week) - but in the meantime...WTF WAS THAT H50? The very end of last night's episode...WHAT THE HELL and shit. Seriously. SERIOUSLY.

That is all.

YAY for the Papa Bear feeling better! The eating thing is a great sign. He's definitely on the mend.

Thank you. It's one day at a time for Papa Bear, but the desire to eat is a vast improvement. :)

I'm really glad Papa Bear is feeling better. I hope he keeps improving. *sends good thoughts*

Thanks, bb. Papa is having good days and bad days, but he seems to be happy and comfortable and at this point, that makes me happy. /takes your good thoughts and puts them in my pocket/

Out of curiosity, what are your four regular network shows? SPN is obviously one of them (and no, I have not caught up yet. Not with the end of S6 and not the premiere of S7. I think K. is on the verge of murdering me.) Hawaii Five-0 must be another one. Three and four?

And before I forget, yay for Papa Bear!

SPN, H50, NCIS:LA (or the happiest married couple on TV show) and Glee (yes, I know, I have not quit it yet. I feel like last year was some sort of torture test and idk why I put myself through it. I am closer to breaking up with Glee than I am SPN and that's saying something).

I have a variety of other shows I watch on A&E, TLC, USA, TNT and FX. And I am trying out a few new network shows this year, but those are my returning four.

Are you thinking you may be done with SPN? I mean, the new season has started and you haven't finished season 6. That is a long time to go without calling your boyfriend back, you know.

Thank you on the Papa Bear front. He had a bad day today, his breathing seems very labored. But he is still up and walking and asking for food, so maybe I'm just being a paranoid fussy. My cats really do turn me into such a girl.

I knew you watched NCIS:LA, but I didn't realize that you were that much of a fan. I still prefer the original (Tony!) over the spin-off, if that's not too blasphemous to say to you. :-)

It is, indeed. But I've always been crap at relationships so that's probably not the best analogy to make. Funnily enough, I don't think I'm done with SPN despite the extraordinarily long (and rather self-imposed) hiatus. I'm committed to [livejournal.com profile] spn_reversebang and am collaborating well with my artist (we're just in the beginning stages but so far so good!). I have a birthday-fic-turned-Christmas-present for [livejournal.com profile] winsangel (it's my first real case fic with a tattoo!kink to boot) and another Christmas pressie for [livejournal.com profile] e0wyn, although she doesn't know it yet.

Given all those projects . . . nope, I don't feel done with the show at all. I may be exceedingly slow with catching up on the canon, which is preventing me from taking part in the usual discussions, but I still have too much love for what I do know. I understand how fans who stopped watching in the show after S2 or S3 can still keep writing fic. I don't believe I'm in that boat because I plan to see the show through to the end, but it's completely possible. I know people from Primeval who are the same with the arcs for that series.

How is Papa Bear now? I'm hopelessly behind on your journal. I'm not even going to pretend that I know what's going on. *face palm*

Oi, The Walking Dead is back! But remember, I'm one week behind you so for me the premiere is still next weekend. Can't wait!
