May Day Things.

I know you are all looking at that icon and thinking, "How does that relate to May Day?" I'll tell you how! The BFF came in today and said, "It's May Day. We should all be engaging in pagan fertility orgies." And I said, "Really? Huh. There should be a May Day Big Bang."

After some discussion we decided it should be a May Day ficathon. There should be pagan goddess cursing people and sex pollen and orgies and rituals and poor unsuspecting Winchesters and yes, even MPreg. Someone grab that idea and run with it for next year, would you? Thanks.

Other things I need are some Kenzi icons from "Lost Girl". I've seen a few around lately on the journal of a flisty, but now I can't remember who. Or just Lost Girl icons in general would be nice. Anyone got a link rec for the pretties? I said 'Fuckballs' today in a comment and then I thought how wrong it felt to say that without a Kenzi icon. Plus, I love her and the shit Kenzi says. Girl owns my heart. If you help me out with this, it may encourage me to write Lost Girl fic. Or at the least, to say ridiculously awesome things ala Kenzi more often. /sweet smile/

Finally, does anyone know of an Avengers fic community? I searched LJ but alas, I find nothing. I need a place to crosspost my Darcy & Coulson fic. Plus, yes, there will be more Avengers fic from me in the future! Aren't you excited? Now I just need a place to pimp it out. Anyone know of a good spot?

All I know is, mr. woods just calculated (like, tonight) that both he and his brother were conceived on or about May Day...13 years apart. If his parents weren't dead I would so be asking them about their pagan roots

Us three older kids were conceived around September (my mom's birthday is in September) and my little bro was around Valentine's Day. I guess my parents were 'special occassion' kind of people. ;)

THANK YOU! I seriously searched on LJ and I got nothing under communities. This was very helpful. I joined avengers_2k (I was never big on the Avengers comics anyways so I doubt it being movie-verse only will be a problem).

The Memos from Fury thing was awesome!!

The Avengers fic I just finished is actually for my Nephew, so like the X-Men fic I wrote him, it is written for kids. But I put some FML!Fury and some Hawkeye & Iron Man as bestest best friends in there, for the adult masses. Next I want to try a crossover.

YOU! It was your icon and then someone who responded to your post and you both had a Kenzi icon and I thought "I want a Kenzi icon!" But I was on my laptop and I wanted to save them to my desktop and then later when I got on my desktop...I forgot where I had seen the icons!

Now I have a Kenzi icon and a Lost Girl icon! Excellent. Thank you for the links!

You recced me to comicstore_news! I got a ping for it and I was so confused. I hadn't cross-posted my fic to any comms yet and I couldn't figure out how they got it. I was like, "The comicstore_news people are stalking me!" lol Thank you for pimp, babe!

I ended up joining avengers_2k. I doubt I'll ever write anything that is so specifically 'comic' related that I won't be able to post it there. I just finished The Nephew's birthday fic of the Avengers - "The Avengers and The Battle of The Super Ants."
