Hi! I feel like I have barely been on LJ at all lately. I have been very busy and when I am not busy being busy, I am busy catching up on rest from being so busy. I also have a lot of writing to get done this month and way more busy-ness coming up later, so I’ll be around as much as I can. At one point about two weeks ago I was actually caught up on all things LJ. That is so a spot in the distance these days.

But I had a good weekend! Other than the awful news about Adam Yauch, my RL went very well. On Friday I saw The Avengers and I loved it. It was exactly what I expected from a fun-loving misfit team of superheroes being manned by the one-eyed Samuel L. Jackson in a movie directed by Joss Whedon. I was especially taken with the geek-bros of Bruce and Tony and their adorable friendship. My sister was all over Hawkeye (as was I) - it was so cute watching her discover the manly-awesome that is Jeremy Renner. And I did not hate Black Widow, even though I am not a big fan of Scarlett's. I especially liked her brand of interrogation. Thor has pretty eyes.

And I know some of you were really, really upset about That Thing That Happened, but I was totally spoiled. The BFF was all, “I read something spoilery about The Avengers that has me so upset,” but she didn’t spoil me for it. But then later she was all, “It just makes me want to kick Whedon in the balls.” Now, knowing her the way I do and how she has never ever ever forgiven Joss for his run of needless deaths that ended with the one in Serenity, I was all, “Oh crap. So somebody dies.” And she didn’t tell me who but I was like, “So by your level of upset-ness, I’d say either Tony or Coulson.” And then the internets told me there would be an Iron Man 3 and I was like, “Oh, Coulson then.” She thinks she can say things like that to me after a decade and I won’t be able to break her code? Also, what do you expect from Joss Whedon after all this time? I would have been shocked if he hadn’t needlessly killed someone. But most importantly, I don’t believe it. I left that theater saying, “There should have been a tag at the end where it turns out Fury just told them all Coulson was dead to motive them and instead he is just in a hospital bed. Cuz…/handwave/.

Then my good friend [livejournal.com profile] hiyacynth came for a visit with her 13 month old. He is seriously the happiest baby I have ever met in my life and I worked in child care for over decade, so that is saying something. Also, he seems like such a little person already. I have worked with a lot of kids and I don’t ever remember them seeming so developed at that age. Even though he doesn’t talk, he is very expressive and has a full blown personality. He is just too fucking cute. We took him to the park and then we went out for linner (lunch/dinner). We gave him his belated birthday presents - I bought an extra special gift for his parents of the book and audio recording of “Go The Fuck To Sleep” (if you don’t know what that is, go look it up. Samuel L. Jackson does the audio recording and it is fanfuckingawesome).

Then after Munchy P’s bedtime on Saturday, [livejournal.com profile] hiyacynth had us watch this movie called “Strictly Ballroom”. She knows I am a dance geek, and even though it was basically a spoof of dance movies, I loved it. It wasn’t as over-the-top as say the Scary Movies are with the spoofing. I would compare the sense of humor with Best In Show and those Christopher Guest movies. It played on all the classic dance-movie tropes but it was so freaking funny. Plus, it still had really good dancing in it, which I love. If you have watched any of those dance movies at all, this would be funny too you. Hell, it would be funny anyways, plus dancing! I am a dance-geek, I don’t even care.

I have pretty much done nothing but rest since they left. I’ll try to be back with more updates later this week - I have health news, Nephew talk, I just finished watching Children Of Earth and must explode over that, and my LJ anniversary is on Sunday (I have decided to do the Fictional Story Meme).

That is all.

Hey, girlie! :) I was about to head off to bed when this popped up, so, hello!

I refuse to believe Coulson is dead. I think Nick Fury was a motivational liar who lied like a big lying rug or dog. Yes. That is all there is to it. So there. And the icon I made says so.

You know, I recognized Jeremy Renner's ARMS from behind and when the camera was thirty feet away.

Black Widow, meh. But I would watch a movie that gave the origins of Hawkeye AND Black Widow. I did love her line "thank you for your cooperation" when she played Loki.

I will now gleefully slash Tony/Bruce as weenie science buds who use lab tables for many things. SO CUTE! And obviously Hulk retains the feelings of Bruce towards the various characters, even if he may not know WHY he wants to smash Natasha or punch Thor sideways even after they team up or catch Tony and prevent him from becoming a shiny smear of metal on the ground.

In short, I may pay to see Avengers again.

Ha, Strictly Ballroom! I saw that AGES ago and probably should watch it again. In fact, I think I saw it so long ago that I didn't understand it was a satire. Ah, naivete: such a fleeting flower.

I hope you're getting ALL the rest you need, and I am looking forward to the Sunday event. However, I will be joining the party kind of late, after a girls' overnight at Holiday World. Roller coasters, waterslides, a hotel and a hot tub. Yay!

Hi! I feel like it has been so long since I even looked at your journal. Hope everything is going good for you.

I think Nick Fury was a motivational liar who lied like a big lying rug or dog. Yes. That is all there is to it. So there. And the icon I made says so.

YES. THIS. Fury needed to rally them. And then Coulson (all adorable in hospital scrubs in his hospital bed eating a little cup of jello) is all, "I get why you needed to tell them that I was dead...but why did you need to smear blood all over my vintage Captain America cards? You realize that I am not going to let it go until you replace them, right?"

Also, your icon is awesome because it's true (and because Coulson looks all badass in it).

You know, I recognized Jeremy Renner's ARMS from behind and when the camera was thirty feet away.

LOL. Those arms are pretty unmistakable but still...I'd say you've got it hard.

I am meh about Black Widow too but I actually expected her presence to lessen the movie for me and it didn't, so I call that a win. I really, really want a Hawkeye origins movie. I have wanted that since the minute he appeared in Thor. My sister was all, "But a Hawkeye origins story would include Black Widow. We don't want that." But I don't think that is true because Hawkeye clearly was working for SHIELD long before Black Widow showed up. But yeah, I liked her backwards form of interrogation and then when she walked away from Loki and he realized he had been had - awesome.

AGREED. ALL THOSE THINGS - YES. I want all the Bestest Best Friends fic about Tony and Bruce.

I want to see the movie one more time. I may take my sister again on Sunday.

Strictly Ballroom - they toed that line between satire and actual dance movie so well that if you didn't know it was a comedy going in, you may have just thought it was over-the-top and playing on all those dance tropes - which despite that I love all those dance movies - I will readily admit a lot of those movies do that. It played so close to those dance movies - that's why it was funny. I was highly amused. And I wanted to go watch all my dance movies after too.

Hey! I had the idea when I was like 14 for a hotel that had a water park and a rollercoaster! I didn't know they had actually done that now. It's cool that you will be a few days late to my anniversary party. Being that it is Mother's Day and then the next day I have therapy, it may be a few days before I can read the stories everyone leaves me anyways.

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND, BABE!

Re: Renner's arms - I actually don't have it bad for him - I'm all about Thor's arms and hair extensions and Captain America's butt. >:) But they are recognizable arms.

I was surprised that the Black Widow stuff didn't annoy me. And also relieved. And now I won't mind an origins movie that has BOTH Hawkeye and BW, but I will not bother to see one that's just BW.

I think I want TOny trying to work with Bruce to eradicate the Other Guy, and fucking it up the way he fucked up his own repairs in Iron Man II. Then again, Bruce is pretty smart. He probably wouldn't let Tony do that to him. Hey, they could be teens in a basement lab! Dorky, non-girl-getting teens! Or maybe grown up Tony tries to buy Bruce all the toys and makes him adorkably uncomfortable. I don't even know.

In some ways, Bruce was the best part of the movie for me. And Loki. Weird, huh? Ah, what am I saying - the whole thing was awesome except for the BIG LIE.

We'll have to go somewhere else for the hotel, but yes. And they give you free sunscreen and free sodas all day long. The only bad thing (since I'm not a kid-owner or bearer) is that it's so family friendly you can't even get a beer. But we may take booze in, using our tummies. :P No, we don't have to have it to have fun, but... girls' trip!

Have an awesome weekend yourself!

I saw Renner in 28 Weeks Later and immediately was like, "Hello, who are you?" I wouldn't say I have it bad, but I definitely have it for that man. I am not a big fan of the long blonde hair on Hemsworth (I think I am not big on long blonde hair in general - it didn't work for me on Orlando Bloom either) but that man has the prettiest eyes (like blue ice) and the sexiest fucking voice. Did you see Cabin In The Woods yet? He looked DAMN fine in that movie. I liked whatshisface (Captain America) in The Losers - he was adorable in that - but I will admit he has a nice butt in that CA outfit.

I won't see a movie that is only Black Widow but I would see a combo of her and Hawkeye for sure. I was also relived that Black Widow didn't ruin the mobie for me.

Hey, they could be teens in a basement lab! Dorky, non-girl-getting teens!

I want this story! Like, they get paired together for a science fair or something and Bruce thinks how this is going to suck because Tony is always goofing off at school and is kind of a douche but then he finds out that Tony is secretly a genius. And they make a great project together and yeah, Tony is kind of a douche but he is nice to Bruce and Bruce likes him and THEN THEY KISS!!!!! Want.

In some ways, Bruce was the best part of the movie for me. And Loki. Weird, huh?

Well, Tony is always the best part of everything for me, but I came out of the movie with a big geeky crush on Bruce Banner. And Loki is the best villian ever. Actually, in Thor, I loved Loki from the second he stepped on screen. I felt bad for him, you know. Thor grew on me but Loki was instant love.

Hope the girls weekend went awesomely, babe!! And that you snuck in all the beer in your tummies!

I still need to see Cabin in the Woods. Hemsworth's voice really does it for me, too. :)

I... added the story idea to the LIST.

There was no beer in the tummies, which was good, because the first roller coaster we went on? HARDEST OF THE HARD CORE WOODEN ROLLER COASTERS IN THE WORLD AND I'M NOT EVEN EXAGGERATING! It was a truly excellent day, but we didn't stay the night after all - we were all tired and it had started raining by mid-afternoon, so we went home to sleep in our own comfy beds (and so that I could see The Awesome Husband TM before next WEDNESDAY).

AND even though I barely wrote at all this week, I managed TWO wacky fictional adventure stories for you.

Don't even think you're fooling me, lady. I know your evil plan. Yes.

This place, Holiday World? Has the THREE BEST wooden roller coasters in the world. Not even kidding - it's little and podunk and in the middle of freaking NOWHERE, and has TOP stuff. That rattles your teeth right out of your head, but still. TOP. They're so amazing that I might be too old for the scariest one. I can still feel it in my spine today.

Hey, did you know that the new Ultimates Spider Man cartoon has Phil Coulson as the school principal? Voiced by Clark Gregg? As an undercover SHIELD guy (of course)?

520 words tonight. Damn you.

Have a teaser:

"Everyone must have a partner," the teacher insisted, murdering that last, feeble hope. "If you draw your own name, of the name of someone who's already selected a partner, you'll draw again. As many times as necessary."

"Selected," he grumbled. "You make it sound like we have a choice."

"Oh, you do," the teacher reminded him. "Work with a partner, or fail the semester. It's not a smart choice, that second one. But it is a choice."

"Right," he sighed. People who were counting on scholarships for college could not make a choice like that, one that would smack a GPA down at least by at least point four in one drastic swoop. Clenching his teeth, he unfolded the slip of paper, and felt his heart simultaneously crash down into his sneakers and began hammering wildly.

"Who did we get," the teacher inquired, with completely heartless cheer. "Anthony Stark." There was a pause, and a whooshing of air as the rest of the class let out relieved breaths at having dodged the arrogant, delinquent bullet that just murdered Bruce's high school career.

Even the teacher sighed. "Has anyone seen Mr. Stark today?"

There was a long pause. Someone suggested, "In the cheerleaders' locker room?" Someone else chimed in with, "Selling fake IDs in the middle school?" A third person offered, "Maybe in auto shop?"

Bruce looked at the teacher with his most pathetic possible sad face. "Is there any way--"

"Sorry, Mr. Banner," the teacher said, and she almost sounded sincere, too. "But it wouldn't be fair to allow you to draw again. We're all operating under the same rules here."

Obviously, she hadn't forgotten that time --okay, all of those times-- he'd corrected her equations.

I love dancing movies, you've got me interested, I might eventually check out 'strictly Ballroom', I'm pretty sure I've heard of it before.

I look forward to your news, and I especially hope the health news is positive ♥

Go see The Avengers!! (Have you seen Thor yet? I would rec you watch Thor first - it is the only one you really need to see to understand the Avengers movie). It was a lot of fun.

/high five/ I actually had never said the word 'linner' before. Coming from a farming family, we actualy call that 'supper' (it is the huge meal you eat in the late afternoon so you have the energy to finish all your farming chores). But [livejournal.com profile] hiyacynth calls it 'linner', so that's what we had. I love the audio recording of Go The Fuck To Sleep - Jackson's inflections are perfect.

Strictly Ballroom is hysterical and has good dance scenes. It really plays on all those tropes that other dance movies use but it does it just enough over-the-top that you can't help but laugh. I didn't know you liked dance movies! Have you seen Center Stage? It is my favorite dance movie of all.

The health news is 50/50. I did not fuck up my kneecap last month - so good news. But he doesnt want to take the rods out of my leg - so bad news. But overall, good news.

/hugs/

I've been planning to see The Avengers with friends MONTHS before it came out, (I feel like I've been waiting to see it forever lol) but we keep having to postpone for various reasons. I have seen Thor luckily! As well as Iron Man, I haven't seen Captain America tho, oops.

wait, I thought linner was a combination of lunch and dinner. (Like brunch is a combination of breakfast and lunch). Supper here (according to past school camps etc - at home we just eat; no need for names haha) is a snack/small meal after dinner if you're still hungry. We used to get things like a piece of cake and milk or w/e and that would be 'supper' lol.

I didn't know you liked dance movies either! They tend to make me feel bad about not being a talented dancer lol, but I enjoy them a lot more than musicals which give me secondhand embarrassment sometimes lol *shrug* I have seen Centre Stage, its an awesome movie :D

Yay for the good news but puzzled and sympathetic about the bad news, wtf. I'll def have to catch up on your posts.

I haven't seen Captain America either. It didn't matter for seeing The Avengers. The only one that mattered was Thor because Loki is the bad guy in The Avengers.

wait, I thought linner was a combination of lunch and dinner.

Yes, that's right. Like, you would eat lunch at 1pm and dinner at 7pm - so you eat Linner at like 4. But for some reason my family calls that 'supper' (the really big meal you eat at like 4 in the afternoon). Here is how my parents explained it to me - Farmers (which my dad's family is) start their chores at 4 in the morning. They come in at 8am and eat breakfast. Then they go back out and work all day. Their day ends at like 3 or 4 and because they haven't eaten anything since 8 that morning, they eat a really really big meal at like 4pm - that they call 'supper'. Idk if that is a standard thing or if it is just my family that calls it that.

is a snack/small meal after dinner if you're still hungry.

See, that's interesting, because here we just call that a snack. Or a bedtime snack.

I love dance movies!! I love watching any and all kinds of dance, though I will admit that the Latin dances are my favorite as well as modern dance. I am a big fan of So You Think You Can Dance - do you watch that?

I can't dance either. I wanted to take lessons when I was a little kid and my neighbor girl was taing them, but my parents wouldn't pay for lessons. (which is weird because they paid for piano lessons). I loved to go out dancing when I was like 18/19. My HS BFF and I would go out together and I was pretty good at 'club dancing' for someone who had never had lessons. But my disability got worse as I got older, so I can't dance anymore but I still love to watch dancing and dance movies.

I never did get around to making a post about the knee doctor visit so I guess you are the only one who got the news, bb.

Thanks for the info. So if he is contracted to appear in more movies, does this mean they are doing a Hawkeye origins movie? I would freak out if they were. Not just because Jeremy Renner is a fine, fine man but because I have always loved Hawkeye (I was so pysched when he cameoed in Thor).

It does make it better that Coulson's death was not Joss' doing - I will immediately tell The BFF to stop kicking Whedon in the balls (at least over this).

Thanks!

AVENGERS! Weeee! I want to see it again, now that I've read your reaction and remembered just how awesome it was. And yeah, Joss is Joss and will kill the people I love the most. At least he didn't kill Tony. *touches wood* (You know, now that I think about it, that expression is dirty. Whose wood am I touching, exactly?) And the geek bro-ing was awesome, right?! And for the first time ever, I liked the Hulk. I mean, I haven't hated him before, but I've been pretty meh about him. And then Joss/the-actor-whose-name-I-seem-to-have-forgotten/someone else make him into a person. With, like, angst. Angst is the fastest way to my heart, I guess. :p

The scene with the bloody cards broke my heart. Not only was Fury all manipulative about it, getting them bloody before he showed them to the boys, but it was just so... they killed the fanboy! Before he could even get Steve's signature! That gets to me, somehow.

I'm pretty much in love with Black Widow. I mean, I liked her even before I saw the movie, but just... she's awesome. And as you said, her interrogation technique is great.

Cute baby sounds cute! I'm glad you had a good time, bb. :)

You watched Children of Earth?! Oh man. I shall prepare my rant for that post. ;)

Looking forward to the LJ anniversary! I won't be able to participate until Tuesday or something, since I have ALL THE SCHOOL, but that should be OK, right?

Still no Avengers icon?! This is blasphemy.

And yeah, Joss is Joss and will kill the people I love the most.

Since this post, I have found out that the decision to kill our favorite geekboy badass was handed down from the higher powers. It wasn't Joss' fault after all.

*touches wood* (You know, now that I think about it, that expression is dirty. Whose wood am I touching, exactly?)

OMG!! LMAO. I am never going to be able to 'touch wood' again without giggling like a little perv.

And for the first time ever, I liked the Hulk.

Me too! Bruce Banner has always been fine but a little broody for my taste - but I always thought The Hulk was a stupid superhero. Like, the guy who loses control and turns into a monster and smashes everything in sight? Seems more like the kind of guy who The Avengers would be fighting than teaming up with.

Angst is the fastest way to my heart, I guess. :p

The angst was very well done without hitting us over the head with it. I loved his whole zen attitude. I loved the way he handled all the other Avengers too. I just loved him. Now I shall copy/paste the Bruce/Tony fic idea from the conversation I was having in these comments with [livejournal.com profile] vikingprincess - you know, just to tease you with fic I will probably never write...

HS AU, like, they get paired together for a science fair or something and Bruce thinks how this is going to suck because Tony is always goofing off at school and is kind of a douche but then he finds out that Tony is secretly a genius. And they make a great project together and yeah, Tony is kind of a douche but he is nice to Bruce and Bruce likes him and THEN THEY KISS!!! The end.

Re: Couslon - it's okay, baby, /pets head/ He's not dead. Nick Fury is a liarhead. Couslon just got a well deserved vacation...To Comic Con! Okay?

I do not like the actress that played Black Widow. But as for the character, I am neither one way or the other. I wasn't that big of an Avengers comic reader as a kid, so I can't really say any female character I would have liked better (maybe Scarlett Witch but she comes with a partner, right?) I was actually surprised how much I did like BW. I liked when she got the call at the beginning to come back in and she was like, "Fine, whatever" and then kicked all the ass.

I had the best time with [livejournal.com profile] hiyacynth and her boy!! Seriously fucking cute. You know how when you get really excited over something Dean/Cas and you literally just sit there and flap your hands because you can't even stand it? That's what this litle guy does when he gets over-excited too.

I am not as upset about Children of Earth as I expected - I think because I have literally had two years to get used to the idea of his death. Mostly, I just really loved all the stuff with the aliens and the children! But we can talk about it when I post properly (sadly probably not until after my brother has visited).

We talked about how school comes before porn. Er, fic. Er, LJ. Besides, I am trying to catch up on things so I won't be able to reply to my anniversary post for a few days anyhow. <3

It wasn't Joss' fault? Man, now I feel bad. :p I bet he's sitting somewhere, reading the angry posts about Coulson's death and going "But it wasn't me! For once, it wasn't me!" *pats imaginary Joss' head*

I am never going to be able to 'touch wood' again without giggling like a little perv.
My work here is done. *evil laugh*

Seems more like the kind of guy who The Avengers would be fighting than teaming up with.
I've only ever run into the Hulk when he was fighting Wolverine, and those fights were just frustrating. Seriously. Neither can really be hurt, they can both go on forever. Feels a bit pointless. And then I saw that he was in the Avengers team and I went "Really? WHY?" Because I haven't read any Avengers comics, either, I only know what I know about them because of crossover etc.

The angst was very well done without hitting us over the head with it.
Yeah! I loved his comment about how it's not possible to kill him. He's already tried. That broke my heart, because it was so understated and still betrayed how much he hates his life.

NOW I WANT THAT FIC! Damn you. I think I ship Tony/Bruce. I think I ship them quite a lot. Only, I ship Pepper/Tony too, so it makes me conflicted. :p

Couslon just got a well deserved vacation...To Comic Con! Okay?
Oh, I like that! I bet he dresses up as Captain America! :D

Black Widow shows up in... was in Daredevil? Or Wolverine? Maybe both. Anyways, I remember liking her. She kicks ass. And yeah, her first scene is awesome! Scarlet Witch would have been cool, too! What if they *gasp* had TWO female characters? Although they would have to introduce her quite well first, since she hasn't been in any of the other movies. It would have been cool if she was in X-Men...

You know how when you get really excited over something Dean/Cas and you literally just sit there and flap your hands because you can't even stand it? That's what this litle guy does when he gets over-excited too.
Aaaaw! He already has the squee flap down! Go baby! :D

I shall contain my Epic Sadness over Ianto until your post, then. It's probably for the best. :p

Right, school... Essays and shit. I'm just gonna reply to my comments, OK? :p

LJ notified me that you had uploaded a bunch of new icons and I looked and was like, "Ah-ha! She got some Avengers icons!" This one actually made me laugh.

Hulk was a member of Spidey and Friends when I was a kid (Spiderman, Iceman and Hulk and sometimes Wolverine or Captain America). And Hulk annoyed me even as a little kid. I was always like, "But how does Hulk know what things to smash and what things not to smash?" In some comics he had some control of himself and in other comics he was basically just smashing everything in sight. It never made any sense. I wanted him to go away so it could just be Spiderman and Iceman all the time (look, I was shipping Spiderman/Iceman without realizing it at the age of 7).

I loved his comment about how it's not possible to kill him. He's already tried. That broke my heart, because it was so understated and still betrayed how much he hates his life.

Omg. Yes. He just said it like it was a matter of fact without making a big scene out of it and he sounded so resigned to the fact that this was his life forever and oh, oh, oh, my heart. Yes. It gave me All The Feels.

NOW I WANT THAT FIC! Damn you.

/evi laugh/ I actually screwed myself there because now I really want that fic too.

I think I ship Tony/Bruce. I think I ship them quite a lot. Only, I ship Pepper/Tony too, so it makes me conflicted.

I KNOW! I ship Tony/Bruce too but I also ship Tony/Pepper. I just want Tony with everyone!!! Including me. Tony/Dodger, yep. Okay.

Oh, I like that! I bet he dresses up as Captain America! :D

Hahahaha, omg. I kind of want the fic now where Coulson goes to Comic Con. I've never been to Comic Con so someone who has should actually write this story. /hint hint/

Scarlet Witch had a twin brother. She is Magneto's long lost daughter, so it wouldn't be implausable for her to show up in a future X-Men movie. She isn't a wide enough known character to get her own movie, sadly, because she and her brother (whose name escapes me) could have a movie of their own that Magneto could also be in.

what if they *gasp* had TWO female characters?

That's just crazy talk. They would never do that. ;)

PS: Looked it up - Scarlet Witch's twin brother was Quicksilver.

Me too! It's one of my favorite lines in the movie, because it feels so Joss, somehow. :)

(look, I was shipping Spiderman/Iceman without realizing it at the age of 7).
You sure started young! I approve! :D

Tony/Dodger, yep.
Then I'm gonna ship him with me, too! Tony/Wolfie. There. I like this ship. ;)

I've never been to Comic Con so someone who has should actually write this story. /hint hint/
Now I want to write that... Dammit! Oh, wait, I'm free to write whatever I want now! Oooh.

If Scarlet Witch was in Avengers, I think she should have been in X-Men first. IDK, but it feels like she originates from there, somehow, since she's Magneto's kid and all. Isn't she in his brotherhood for a while before she switches sides? Or is that just in the Ultimate verse?

I feel so geeky right now. It's glorious. ;)

Yes, it does!

Tony/Wolfie. There. I like this ship.

Hey, I ship that too! ;)

DO IT! DO IT!

Isn't she in his brotherhood for a while before she switches sides?

She is. She is in The Brotherhood and then The Avengers, where I think Tony recruits her.

I feel so geeky right now. It's glorious. ;)

Me too!

Loved the Avengers.

When Bruce Banner hulks out, why do all his clothes burst, except for the part of his pants that cover his privates. Does he have his clothes specially made so they can all burst apart but that part of his pants stretch? Why doesn't he just wear bicycle shorts all the time?

I have wanted to go back and see The Avengers again pretty much since the minute we walked out of the theater. Haven't yet found a chance to do it. It was just FUN.

All Legit Questions, baby! The obvious answer of course being that they want to sell the comics to children. But still...I think Mark Ruffalo should lose his pants.
