Distracted By Something Shiny

I wrote this fic back in 2010 for my girls for Valentine's Day. I always celebrated Valentine's as more of a 'all the people I love' and 'friendship' and stuff rather than romance, so apparently what this really was - this fic that celebrates the awesome women in my life and on my shows - was a Galentine's Day fic, I just didn't know the word back then! So, have some Sam and Dean observing awesome women in the worlds of Buffy, Deadwood and The OC. Enjoy!

So, I wrote this back in 2010, during the mass writing spree I went through then, back when Cas was a lot more stilted about human things. It's a silly little cracky piece with some FML!Sam. I thought I'd finally get around to posting it. 1,922 words. Enjoy!

Halloween fic for everyone! When I started this, I just wanted to write a little haunted house fic. Three weeks later I had more than 13,000 words. I almost doubled my record monthly word count. This is the second longest piece of fanfic I have ever written in my life. And, though this fic is Gen, I totally ship Darcy/Bruce now. Now go search the phrase ‘Door To Nowhere’ on the internet and see what comes up.

Thanks to the amazingly awesome rhymephile, who turned this thing around for me in two days.

Summary: If only Darcy had listened to Tony and not gone down into that part of the basement. Now the nightmares won’t stop, even when she’s awake. -- Gen, Drama, Horror with Darcy, Pepper, Bruce, Tony & a little Coulson. Rated ‘R’ for vivid nightmares about imprisonment and torture. 13,463 words.
