Dear
baylorsr,
Can we please get a parrot? I still want a ferret, but I concede to your whole "they are rodents" argument.
But look, parrots can do tricks!
Please, please, please?
Love, Dodger
Dear Eric Brady,
Oh sweetie, really? This is what you think porn stars dress like? That is so adorable.
Though I'm quite disappointed in the lack of shirtlessness going on here. In the future, please strip down for the creepy man, (6 minute marker, if you need a refresher on your porn star days), and look directly at the camera, that's how porn star auditions go. Also, if you really love your porn star girlfriend (btw, I applaud you in your choice of dating two women at once, especially since one is a porn star and the other seems to be a virgin, I totally get the irony there), but if you really loved her, you would have gone through with that pornographic screen test, mostly for my amusement.
Oh well, despite the lack of nudity and your ridiculous backwards baseball hat, I still love you and want to lick your pretty face. Our love was real - sorry to inform you though, I have moved on to a man named Dean. He's way sexier than you, and has a better car. But his family drama totally rivals yours and I'm pretty sure he's cheating on me with this dude in a trenchcoat. Though, I could be into that.
Always with love, Dodger
Dear Ben Affleck,
You are such a goober. I love you. That has nothing to do with anything, I just like to remind you.
This movie looks awesome. You are a fantastic director and I am excited for this to come out, because it looks wicked cool and intense.
Please, tell Don Draper (oh, that's his name, shut up.) that he is a sexy-pants.
Please tell Jeremy Renner to come over later and make-out with me. K? Thanx.
Please tell Jen and Jimmy I say 'hi!'.
Kisses, Dodger
Dear Misha Collins,
Why so in love with Jared? Oh, right, cuz he's Jared! Why did you two go and break Jensen's heart? Or, is it some sort of threesome thing and Jensen just isn't a fan of PDAs?
That's totally it, isn't it?
How does it feel when Jared's giant hand lands on your shoulder? All warm and tingly? If I spent a lot of time thinking about Jared's hands, which I totally don't, I would have to guess that they make you feel all warm and tingly.
Too bad you were in front of cameras and couldn't just lean over and give the top of that hand some kisses.
Still waiting for that whole World Domination thing - Salute, Dodger
Dear
afra_schatz,
This is James Marsden.

Two more pics

I know of him for three reasons -
1) Hairspray!
2) He is Hugh Jackman's secret boyfriend.
3) My sister is only slightly obsessed - but I love her anyway.
Actually, I know him for some other reasons, but those are my favorite three.
Fist Bump, Dodger
Dear Me,
Go do something productive now.

Date: 2010-07-27 04:16 am (UTC)Jimmy Marsden - he's one of those guys that can go from being adorable to sexy in the snap of a finger. Plus, he is hysterical. His bits on the X2 special features/commentary are brilliant. (I think the striped pullover pic is my favorite too!) *g*_

Date: 2010-08-05 03:53 pm (UTC)What am I talking about? The fact that you placed a link to the trailer for The Town. Wow. It does look fantastic. And I loved Gone, Baby, Gone.
When I first heard that Ben Affleck wanted to direct, my reaction was, Seriously? But you know what? He's a great director and Gone, Baby, Gone was one of the best directorial debuts I'd ever seen. (It was one of the best films of that year. Period.) So, yeah. I'm excited for The Town. Although, Ben is actually starring in the film as well. I'm not saying he's a bad actor. I just find him a tad . . . limited. But no matter. Jon Hamm is there. And so is Jeremy Renner. Ben's not tough on the eyes either. We'll survive, right?
Better go do something productive now.
P.S. James Marsden is under rated. You don't have to convince me of his awesomeness.

Date: 2010-08-11 04:46 am (UTC)Apparently, he is my Goober-of-Love.
I have felt Fail from most movies lately and haven't seen a trailer I am totes excited about in like forevers (sorry, I am simutensously writing Christian Kane's secret diary and I keep writing everything like a valley girl, my bad) Um, but I am way excited about The Town.
Apparently, not gonna do anything productive - gonna email back and forth with someone, the crack of Christian's diary where he cries about Steve and talks about his pretty hair. It's late, I have no excuse for this ridiculous crack.
PS: I am so glad my sister got a big crushy-crush on Jimmy Marsden, cuz before that he was just "the cute guy who was too old to be kissing Katie Holmes in Disturbing Behavior" and now he's - Jimmy! It's kind of like having a secret crush on your sister's husband. Except, you know, my sister isn't actually married, certainly not to James Marsden. :)

Date: 2010-08-28 03:40 am (UTC)I don't feel anywhere near as strongly about Ben Affleck as you do, but I admit that my respect for him has come a long way. I really loved Good Will Hunting but that was more of a combination of Gus Van Sant plus Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. And I was ecstatically happy that the Harvard drop-outs (are they Harvard or Yale drop-outs?) won the Oscar.
At the time, I thought Matt Damon was the better actor (and yeah, I still do. Damon has proven his versatility) but Ben . . . well, Ben was good-looking and could write. Wasn't too sure about the acting though. I used to think that he and Keanu Reeves were having a race for the bottom of the barrel sweepstakes in Hollywood. *hides from the flying objects Dodger has hurled my way* As an aside, my views on Keanu have changed too.
Ask me my favorite Ben Affleck movie and I think I gotta go with Jersey Girl.
I missed this, even though I'm a Kevin Smith fan. *hangs head in shame* It was the idea of seeing Ben and J-Lo in the same flick that was so off-putting. Plus the reviews were pretty crappy. Is this film worth watching or is that just a stupid question to ask you? *g*
Between the Affleck brothers, Casey is by far the most talented in the acting department, imho. Aside from Gone Baby Gone, he had another fantastic film that year with Brad Pitt, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. Yeah, the title's a mouthful, but the film is amazing. I think Casey was even nominated for a Best Supporting Actor performance. Or he could've been nominated for Gone Baby Gone. Hell, I can't remember and I'm too lazy to look it up. I just know that he was nominated that year for something and his performances in both films were brilliant.
And somehow this comment has gone from being about Ben Affleck love to Casey Affleck love. That is just so me.
Let's throw in some James Marsden love for good measure, eh? Ah, Jimmy. Loved him as Cyclops. Thought the whole franchise under-utilized him terribly. Glad to see that Bryan Singer brought him over to the Superman fold 'cos he was perfectly cast as the every day superman to . . . well . . . the real Superman. Really loved him in Hairspray 'cos any cute guy that can sing can also steal my heart.
And that's it for now. Can probably get to another comment or two later today.

Date: 2010-09-02 11:05 pm (UTC)Matt - Matt Damon is by far the better actor. Personally, I adore Ben more, but Matt is def the better actor. Plus, Jason Bourne - remember when he decapitated Karl Urban that one time? Ah, good times. My sister and I always use Matt as the comparision of Jensen - what can Jensen do if he really wanted to after SPN? If he wanted, he could totally be the next Matt Damon - like, try for that level of a movie career.
As an aside, my views on Keanu have changed too. <-- Mine have not - if anything, I have lowered my views on him.
Jersey Girl - oh, see it! J-Lo dies in the first five minutes and stays dead, thank you very much. Liv Tyler is the love interest. The kid (Raquel something) is amazing. George Carlin is the grandpa. I know Kevin kind of talks trash about it because it bombed so much at the theaters, but Kevin's fans want Clerks or Chasing Amy and I think they just didn't give this movie a chance. He got so discouraged, he went and made Clerks 2, instead of sticking with this new genre he was trying out and anyway, it wasn't really all that family-friendly, you know - as you can see, I really loved this movie and I wished more people loved it too. So yes, Is this film worth watching or is that just a stupid question to ask you? - that was a stupid question.
Casey Affleck - Def the better actor and also, I find him more attractive. I also have discovered that he is nearly as big as a goober as his brother (I changed my Ben Affleck Is A Goober tag to Afflecks Are Goobers) - though Casey isn't living in a threesome with Jimmy Kimmel, so I can't love him quite as much as I love Ben - like, on a talk show, I'd much rather see Ben - in a movie, I'd much rather see Casey - overall, I love to see Casey in Ben's movies. (remember when Casey was the kid in the backseat of the car in Good Will Hunting who kept complaining about his cheeseburger? Plus, he married my sister-in-law, Summer Phoenix, so I do love him quite a bit for that. Shut it.)
Jimmy Marsden - Hairspray! I would have been the girl that when everyone else was all, "Link, omg" - I would have been, "Screw Link! Corny Collins 4evah! <-- He's cute, can sing and dance, is a total dorkus and is all for equal rights. It's true love. Cyclops has a stick up his ass, but I kind of love him for it, and James was great at that. Plus, Logan/Scott oh yeah. - No! Bryan Singer abandoned us to make Superman - he switched to the DC side, the traitor. And they had more stuff for Cyclops to do and they had to write him out because Jimmy left to go with the traitor Bryan to do Superman. (He did wear a white shirt and then get all wet though that was nice) Superman is a pussy. Do I feel strongly about this?
Okay, then. /fist bump/

Date: 2010-11-04 04:48 pm (UTC)I feel like it because we were all excited for The Town and you totally put that film on my radar. And when it finally came to my country, it came right smack during the month when work was hell and the LJ moratorium was on. That translates into me not being able to go out and watch it. *cry* My friends who were able to see it enjoyed it immensely. They were even surprised at how well Ben acted in the film, meaning he totally held his own against his own sterling cast. (Yeah, they're not Goober fans like you.)
Re: Matt Damon
Matt as the comparison of Jensen? Veeery interesting. This had never occurred to me. I mean, I think Jensen is immensely talented and I worry that he'll get type-cast as Dean Winchester when Supernatural is over. Like he'll never be able to break out of the Dean Winchester stereotype. But the level of Matt Damon? Wow. We're talking full out A-list Hollywood movie star. I just never saw Jensen going that way. Not for lack of ability, but I dunno. I wouldn't be surprised if he began directing more regularly. "Weekend at Bobby's" was a great start.
Going back to the Goober, did Ben ever do another film with J-Lo? Maybe it's not Jersey Girl I'm thinking of if J-Lo dies in the first five minutes. I ain't gonna hunt down Jersey Girl, but when it shows on cable, I'll check it out. For you. See what a good friend I am?
Casey Affleck - I second everything you said!
I would have been, "Screw Link! Corny Collins 4evah! <-- He's cute, can sing and dance, is a total dorkus and is all for equal rights.
Amen to that! I'd take Jimmy over Zac Efron in a heartbeat. Honestly, I don't get the deal with Zac Efron at all. I think I'm really showing my age.
Okay, I think I've put this thread to rest now. (Yeah, I'll wait til you reply and then bite my tongue. Our threads refuse to die, dammit! And don't crack a zombie joke!)

Date: 2010-11-07 05:23 am (UTC)No, I did NOT remember this thread, but I always love to talk about The Afflecks!
I feel like it because we were all excited for The Town
I never got to see The Town. I really wanted to but I couldn't talk anyone into going. Right now I really want to see "Red" and I want to see "127 Hours" - but I think "Red" really needs to be seen on the big screen. I can't find anybody to go see those either. Damn my lame friends.
Matt as the comparison of Jensen? Veeery interesting. This had never occurred to me. Yeah...I don't know that Jensen will rise to that level, but I think if he wanted to, if he put himself into it, he could. He has the charisma and the looks and the talent and the knowledge of how to work and be professional and just...idk, I think he could if he were dedicated enough to pursue it.
But I think it is more likely he will go into TV directing. I wouldn't be surpised to see Jensen running his own show in another ten years. His knowledge of how the industry works would really help him out on the that and frankly, The Incestuous CW Orgy Cult would be stupid to ever let him go. I wouldn't be surprised if he worked for them until he died (and then afterwards too!)
Going back to the Goober, did Ben ever do another film with J-Lo?
Gigli - imdb says this "The violent story about how a criminal lesbian, a tough-guy hit-man with a heart of gold, and a retarded man came to be best friends through a hostage."
Seriously, wtf? I've never seen it and as much as I love Ben, I never will. But totally check out Jersey Girl. After Dogma, it's Kevin Smith's best movie. Though I will always have a soft spot for Mallrats.
Okay, I think I've put this thread to rest now. (Yeah, I'll wait til you reply and then bite my tongue. Our threads refuse to die, dammit! And don't crack a zombie joke!)
Nope, no joke - just using my zombie icon. ;)

Date: 2010-11-08 10:57 am (UTC)A-hem.
I never got to see The Town.
We are both such losers, but I think I'm slightly less of a loser than you because I was able to see RED. Yes, it's a film that should be seen on the big screen. I had so much fun! And Helen Mirren really knows how to slum it in Hollywood. John Malkovich's performance alone is worth the price of admission.
Two of my friends dragged me out on opening night. I remember it was the very last day of exam week and they were like, Look, you have to come out and watch this now. It's a reward for surviving exam week and afterwards you'll barricade yourself in your apartment and bury yourself under piles of work. They were right on both counts. RED was an excellent reward for surviving exam week and I really did lock myself in for the next week or so to try (and fail) to get grades in on time. So, yeah. RED. It is worth your time.
127 Hours hasn't opened here yet but there's no way I'm missing that. I'm a HUGE Danny Boyle fan, ever since he made Shallow Grave. And I have a friend who's a huge James Franco fan, so she's all lined up to watch 127 Hours. Tomorrow I'm watching The Social Network, mainly because it's David Fincher and I don't miss his stuff either. Yeah, my friends clearly aren't as lame as yours when it comes to movies. *g*
The Incestuous CW Orgy Cult would be stupid to ever let him go. I wouldn't be surprised if he worked for them until he died (and then afterwards too!) -- Amen to that!
Gigli, that's it! I heard that film was horrible beyond belief. I think I confused it with Jersey Girl somehow. That's why I had such a strong negative reaction to the latter. I was thinking of something else. *shudder*
And Mallrats! Good times, good times.

Date: 2011-04-26 06:02 am (UTC)ok so I really don't know how I stumbled accross this post. I maayyyy or may not have been looking for one of your fics and hence clicked the accidental porn tag.....
But all I know is that I clicked that stupid link to DOOL and got hooked and ended up watching ALL the episodes!!! *facepalm* I had stuff to do! (And that ending sucked!)
So thank you.
I thought you should know and thought I might as well post here lol.
ps this post was funny :)

Date: 2011-04-28 02:50 am (UTC)Okay, so if you are looking for my fic in the future, my FIC tags are (because I do have crazy tags like "six degrees of zac effron" and "zombie penguins") - for example: Character - Misha Collins, Fandom - Glee, Fic - Humor or Fic - Angst, Pair - Chad/Jensen, Rating - NC-17, Word Count - 1001 to 3000
So if you were actually looking for porn, I would rec either clicking the pairing you want or the Rating - NC-17 tag. Or you could just click the "Fiction - Mine" tag because I have something like 25 stories posted, so it wouldn't take that long to scroll thru.
Hope that helps.
Now the important things - Ah, Eric Brady. How I miss you and your angry secret love with Lucas (swear I didn't know what slash was when I watched this show with him on it, but I had this urge for one of them to throw the other against a wall and I didn't know why).
I actually watched when Jensen was on. I grew up on Days, my mom watched it, so I remember when the character of Eric Brady was like 8 (not Jensen obvs). And then it was on when I was on my lunch break at work when I was 18/19 years old, so right when Jensen was on it. Me and my couisn Jason used to watch it together in the summer's when he was home while he made us lunch and we were always fighting over who was going to date whom. He was continually pissed off at how no one in Eric's family seemed to appreciate all the things he did. I think my cousin had a litle crush on Jensen, honestly.
I quit that job though and then I took one where I wasn't home at the right time, so I never did see how it ended for Eric, how he left the show. I have heard rumors it was not good (I think the show was pissed Jensen wanted to go do something else).
Wanna tell me how it ended for Eric, please? /puppy eyes/
If it wasn't embarrassing enough that you wasted hours watching all the episodes of Days, now you will waste hours talking about it with me. ;)
