Distracted By Something Shiny

So, I had a good weekend.

On Friday, The BFF came down, after having been sick last weekend. We finally caught up on Arrow and The Flash. I am loving Arrow, except for The Thing That Happened, which was completely needless of them. But the rest of this season has been great. There were a couple of Felicity n Roy moments that were surprising and sweet and the Oliver/Felicity stuff had me squealing like a maniac. The Sister and BFF indulged me while I rewound a few times. The Flash is okay, not great, but the combination of my daddy issues and Jesse L Martin’s face/voice/everything will keep me coming back for at least a few more episodes.

Sadly, today The Sister came home early from work with a nasty cold and I woke up in the middle of the night feeling like someone had stripped three layers of skin out of my throat. But aside from getting sick, a pretty nice weekend, all around. How were all of your weekends?

1. Two TV things of note - On Sunday, the 26th at 12am (so midnight for the 25th, if that makes sense) on TVGuide Network is some show called ’Rove LA’. I am assuming it is like an entertainment insider show. Anyway, that night’s episode will feature Justin Timberlake, Eliza Dushku & James Marsden - Justin, Faith & Cyclops together! It’s like some bizarre crossover. I am Tivoing it. Also on the 27th, Monday, at 7pm on the G4 channel, Dominic Monaghan is going to be on Attack of the Show! It is a zany off-the-wall kind of talk show/entertainment show. I look forward to seeing what they end up talking about - (it never seems to be what the ‘regular’ interview shows talk about with guests).

Oh sweetie, really? This is what you think porn stars dress like? That is so adorable.

Though I'm quite disappointed in the lack of shirtlessness going on here. In the future, please strip down for the creepy man, (6 minute marker, if you need a refresher on your porn star days), and look directly at the camera, that's how porn star auditions go. Also, if you really love your porn star girlfriend (btw, I applaud you in your choice of dating two women at once, especially since one is a porn star and the other seems to be a virgin, I totally get the irony there), but if you really loved her, you would have gone through with that pornographic screen test, mostly for my amusement.

Oh well, despite the lack of nudity and your ridiculous backwards baseball hat, I still love you and want to lick your pretty face. Our love was real - sorry to inform you though, I have moved on to a man named Dean. He's way sexier than you, and has a better car. But his family drama totally rivals yours and I'm pretty sure he's cheating on me with this dude in a trenchcoat. Though, I could be into that.

Why so in love with Jared? Oh, right, cuz he's Jared! Why did you two go and break Jensen's heart? Or, is it some sort of threesome thing and Jensen just isn't a fan of PDAs?

That's totally it, isn't it?

How does it feel when Jared's giant hand lands on your shoulder? All warm and tingly? If I spent a lot of time thinking about Jared's hands, which I totally don't, I would have to guess that they make you feel all warm and tingly.
