Distracted By Something Shiny

In September I wrote the Faith/Teen Wolf fic that I was so scared to write, but ended up really loving. Also, more Leverage fic - (I was in a mood, Hardison needed a little PTSD - it happens). Also, I started my X-Files Halloween fic, but with how I’ve been feeling here in October, I’m not sure I’ll get it finished in time. I’m debating dropping it and turning out something much shorter for Halloween, but I need to decide soon.

Here is my approximate word count for the month of September.

September, 2013
Week One: 600 words of Teen Wolf Family fic.
1,100 words of Faith fic.
Week Two: 5,850 words of Faith fic.
Week Three: 250 words of Faith fic. Completed. (already posted!)
850 words of Leverage fic. Completed.
Week Four: 1,550 words of X-Files Halloween fic.

10,200 words written in September!

I am almost tempted to watch Kimmel tonight, just to see if he mentions how it is his boyfriend's birthday. No, I don't care that it was like eight years ago that Jimmy Kimmel made that Fucking Ben Affleck video - it is still the funniest thing for-ev-er. But 40. Damn. I know, I know, I'm 34 now, I should just get over it. I just have a hard time with how the people I watched as a teenager are now in their 40s and shit. David Duchovny turned 52 the other day. 52!! That shit is Not Allowed.

Er, anyways, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, bugeyedmonster - hope it was a really great one, darling!

So, I was going to make a post that said - "Misha Collins and Jeffrey Dean Morgan are going to be in a movie together!" - And then put a LJ cut and say, "Click here for more info" - and then when you clicked it, it was going to say, "Seriously, it's April 1st. I can't believe you bitches fell for that."

But then I thought, "If someone did that to me, I would hire someone to hack their LJ account, find out where they live, and then there would be blood shed and bonfires."

I guess I just love you all too much. That's why I didn't do it. Not because as I was making that post, I realized all of my icons had been declared invalid and I was all, "WHAT?!" and ran around until I realized my credit card expired in the middle of March and I had forgotten to update with my new one. Oops. All fixed now.

I have been bad about keeping up on my to-do-list this week. I keep getting distracted by fics that I don't have time to be reading. I'm currently reading an Angel (the tv show) post-apocalypse AU from Wesley's POV. It is captivating. I did just write 1,000 words of fic though, so yay that!

I had a horrible dream last night where I was a freshman in high school and I was at some horrible school dance and Casey Affleck, the cool senior with a motorcycle, was there. He called me over and all my friends were in a twitter about it. There was flirting and a lot of me admiring his motorcycle and then A CAR FELL OUT OF THE SKY AND CRUSHED HIM TO DEATH! It was not a good dream. Well, it was - he wanted to give me a ride on his bike - but then he got crushed like a cartoon, so...yeah. And all I could think was, "I wonder if Bones and Booth will investigate this. It seems like their kind of case."

They say dreams shed light on our subconscious and help us work through our stresses. All mine ever say about me is that I watch too much TV and spend way to much time being a FanGirl.

I'M GOING TO SEE SOURCE CODE TOMORROW!! Because Jake is cute. It looks entertaining. And my sister said we were. And I am just that easy.

Also, I may have something for you this weekend, but I have told myself I must finish filing away my 9 months worth of mail before I can make crazy posts.

Oh sweetie, really? This is what you think porn stars dress like? That is so adorable.

Though I'm quite disappointed in the lack of shirtlessness going on here. In the future, please strip down for the creepy man, (6 minute marker, if you need a refresher on your porn star days), and look directly at the camera, that's how porn star auditions go. Also, if you really love your porn star girlfriend (btw, I applaud you in your choice of dating two women at once, especially since one is a porn star and the other seems to be a virgin, I totally get the irony there), but if you really loved her, you would have gone through with that pornographic screen test, mostly for my amusement.

Oh well, despite the lack of nudity and your ridiculous backwards baseball hat, I still love you and want to lick your pretty face. Our love was real - sorry to inform you though, I have moved on to a man named Dean. He's way sexier than you, and has a better car. Why so in love with Jared? Oh, right, cuz he's Jared! Why did you two go and break Jensen's heart? Or, is it some sort of threesome thing and Jensen just isn't a fan of PDAs?
