Or, for you lucky people who have the far more superior Tivo...Program Your Tivos!

Tomorrow night, 8pm on FOX, "Glee" is doing a Rocky Horror Picture Show episode. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it will be awesome and even if you don't watch the TV show "Glee,"...you should watch this episode. Because...ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW! I mean, come on.

Saturday, the 30th, beginning at 12 noon - tune in to Comedy Central for a LIVE Broadcast of THE RALLY TO RESTORE SANITY and/or FEAR!! Brought to you from The National Mall in Washington DC, by The Daily Show With Jon Stewart and that guy Stephen something. No, no, I love you too, Colbert.

Go to the Rally! Or watch the Rally live on TV! Or program the Rally on your DVRs! Or, if you are terribly busy that day, just support the Rally by donating to The National Mall, cuz they are gonna fuck that shit up. Rally news, bus organizations and car pool info, and a link on how to donate to The National Mall, can all be found at the official site.

Or, if you are more into Keeping Fear Alive - join Stephen Colbert and The March To Keep Fear Alive!

And on Sunday, since I am shocked to find there are still people out there who don't know about this..."The Walking Dead" premieres. Yes, it's based on the comics. Yes, it's very "28 Days Later". (What's up with that, who knows? Did 28 Days Later totally steal that whole opening scene from The Walking Dead comics or what?) And it is absolutely the Zombie Apocalypse! Plus, LENNIE JAMES...that man has a sexy voice. Hi, Hawkins, hi! Oh, yes, on AMC, Sunday at 10pm. (It's in the "Mad Men" slot, which cracks me up because it conjures to my cracked out brain the image of Don Draper as a zombie. Bet he could still get laid though.)

And check out how they plan to promote "The Walking Dead" by staging ZOMBIE INVASIONS in major cities around the world - um, looks like tomorrow, the 26th. At subways and the like...and for anyone in America, the zombies are coming to LA, NY, DC, Boston, San Francisco & Chicago! The Zombies Are Coming!

On a final note, we have finished the Buffy Season Three extras and have moved on to Angel Season One. We just did the pilot commentary and omg...Joss Whedon and David Greenwalt are so Bestest Best Friends that it squishes my insides! And when Cordelia looks around that guy's office and notices the dark curtains and the no mirrors and is all, "You're a vampire!" - heehee. I think the quote is, "I'm from Sunnydale, mister. We have a Hellmouth!" Oh, Cordy.

Also, as soon as Christian Kane made his first appearance on the screen, my sister just starts giggling uncontrollably. Christian has that effect on women. Plus, I noticed how curly his hair was, even when it was so short. Also, Angel's spiky ridiculous hair is so ridiculous. I bet Christian mocked David for it endlessly.

That is all.

Edited To Say: My sister doesn't giggle over Shirtless!Christian Kane - (as he is known around here, regardless of whether he is wearing a shirt or not) - because she is so madly in love with him...but rather because he had his 5XEverything hairstyle. Remember when he was in that boy band with Jensen, which is totally trufax?

Also, the credits tell me Josh Holloway was in the pilot as "Good Looking Guy", but I didn't see him. Someone point out the scene to me so I won't have to go looking, cuz I'm lazy. Thanks.

Now, that is all.

And now that I have you all on the edge of your seat...let me ramble at you about more things that I insist are real - BECAUSE THEY ARE! (Things I believe to be real - As All World Turns including Sam/Rob and Misha/Richard 4evah! 5 X Everything is a real boy band and Jared and Chad are actually on The Mickey Mouse Club. And The Mulvaneys & Co are really on Show!) Clearly, I'm watching a different show than all of you, because my Show has The Mulvaneys and they are awesome cool and even The Winchesters think so.

I love them. /sigh/

And now...The Mulvaneys. )

In regards to SPN episode 6.01 - Basically, I was just bored by The Campbells. I think they didn't have enough time to really introduce them properly, which is why they should have left them for another episode. You meet The Mulvaneys on Show and in the first five minutes, you LOVE them. (Who just shouted out that Super Pretend Natural isn't real? Who said that?!)

It's just The Mulvaneys kick ass and The Campbell Cousins bored me. Watch me eat my words when by like Christmas, I'm running around writing Campbell/Winchester slash left and right and declaring my undying love for Christian Campbell. <--I can't believe they named him CHRISTIAN!

Also - here, have the Super Pretend Natural Wikipedia - (for lo, it is The Awesome)

And join the community - (for lo, it has fan mixes.)

That is all.

I Have Fic Rec - Yes I Do!

So, my sister's better half (have you all figured this one out yet?) - [livejournal.com profile] allamboy, wrote this story for the spn_j2 big bang last year.

Jensen and Jared work for the Disney Channel. Jensen is in a boy band called "5 X Everything" - or, for us true fangirls who have BOP magazine cut-outs of the band all over our walls and trapper keepers and keychains and our Disney Channel Summer Tour T-Shirts - it's simply "5xE". He is joined in the band by Tommy Welling, Christian Kane, Steve Carlson & Michael Rosenbaum. OMG, you guys, they are soooo cute together!! Isn't it awesome how they are all friends with each other in RL?

Jared is in the Disney Channel's Mickey Mouse Club with Chad Michael Murray, Alexis Bledel and the entire cast of The CW's Reaper and 90210. God, AnnaLynne is such a skank, you guys, omg. But Bret & Tyler are so squishy cute, I squish them! And did you see when Chad and Jared went to Disney Land together, omg!

Pretty much, around FanGirl Central, we have forgotten that this isn't real - because, YES IT IS! And, also, it's fun.

Whenever I am talking about The CW actors, I kind of trail off into talking about The Mickey Mouse Club or 5xE. So my sister says, "Do your CW RPS friends ever get confused when you say things about Jensen being on the summer tour with his boy band?" and I was like, "Um, no, I'm sure I recced it to them all at some point or another."

But then I got to thinking, how many of you have I actually recced this story too?

So, here, Live & On Stage - it's PG-13, and though it is long, it is a pretty easy read. It's sweet and adorable. It has a ton of our favorite characters. And these lovely little snippets of some junior high school girls squeeing everywhere about the latest Disney Channel gossip thrown in throughout each chapter.

Read It! There's art, a podfic and a soundtrack too!

It's hard to pick an excerpt - omg, you guys, I wanted the scene at the restaurant but I couldn't even pick a section from that one scene! Dammit!

Excerpt )

Ever since that conversation with my sister last week, I've been thinking about reccing this. But now my LJ has informed me that it is [livejournal.com profile] allamboy's birthday on Wednesday. I know - I thought his birthday was in June too! I mean, my sister's birthday is in June and aren't they the same person? But apparently Jason is special and gets to share a birthday with Frodo and Bilbo. Whatever. /eyeroll/ Anyway...

And for those of you who are bemoaning that Misha isn't in this story, may I suggest [livejournal.com profile] allamboy's story - Dem Bones, wherein Misha breaks his arm, so...Castiel has to break his arm too? But he's an Angel! Good job, Misha!

Excerpt )

I think that's all for now. :) I have to go eat dinner with my sister and her better half.
