Well, I finally did it. I put them to bed one last time. Two years invested, at the least. My sweet little children. I may upload the games on my new iPad and 'adopt' some new cat children, but until then - yeah, until then I'm probably gonna play Smurf Village.

Watson was older by a few months. He was a scientist for NASA, played the piano, was a pilot, liked to cosplay and legit, literally every time you signed on he would wave and yell in joy at 'seeing' you again. He had these adorable little nerdy hipster glasses he would wear too. He also went from having a tummy as a toddler to being a skinny teen to having a middle aged man belly, for real.

Cordelia was a code breaker for the NSA, a video game nerd, liked puzzles, went through a weird water skiing phase, enjoyed playing with bubbles and had a pet fish. She also had a ton of different gorgeous outfits and would legit, literally clap and jump up and down whenever you dressed her in something new. And she could 'travel' to Paris or the aquarium. She also was obsessed with having her teeth brush, she was always protesting her bad breath, for real.

I will miss my sweet little cat children. Pics under the cut. )

In loving memory of Cordelia and Watson.

(No, seriously, you guys, they are fun to play and have great mini games. You should all check it out - My Talking Tom and My Talking Angela).

I am sad and happy. Happy because I GOT MY NEW IPAD!! It's rose gold and so pretty, I keep stroking it. And it is way lighter and smaller, but with the same screen size so I can still see. And I got a new art pencil to go with it, which I adore. And a protective screen this time - no seven different cracks in the screen and protection from my droppy hands. Plus 128 gb, when my last one had 13. I finally have room to update and my apps work again and it is glorious. I've named her Lewis, after Dr. Susan Lewis, as she will care for me when I'm sick.

More under the cut. )

I did a photo shoot with them in some of my favorite outfits and as soon as I'm ready, I'll put them to bed one last time.

In September I wrote the Faith/Teen Wolf fic that I was so scared to write, but ended up really loving. Also, more Leverage fic - (I was in a mood, Hardison needed a little PTSD - it happens). Also, I started my X-Files Halloween fic, but with how I’ve been feeling here in October, I’m not sure I’ll get it finished in time. I’m debating dropping it and turning out something much shorter for Halloween, but I need to decide soon.

Here is my approximate word count for the month of September.

September, 2013
Week One: 600 words of Teen Wolf Family fic.
1,100 words of Faith fic.
Week Two: 5,850 words of Faith fic.
Week Three: 250 words of Faith fic. Completed. (already posted!)
850 words of Leverage fic. Completed.
Week Four: 1,550 words of X-Files Halloween fic.

10,200 words written in September!

Fics posted in September, 2012. )

Last one! Again, sorry for the spam. Having these up here is so much easier for keeping track of my weekly/monthly/yearly word counts and all that.

I bought The Nephew some Choose-Your-Own-Adventure books for his birthday - (my brothers and I used to be so into those as kids) - and I just read through one to see if it was any good. I went on three different adventures in the same book and got three different endings; the embassy sent me back to the United States and I had to give up my quest for the mysterious jewels, I got inducted into a secret society, and I died. Pretty fun!

Also, I watched the season finale of Vikings yesterday and I have a few things to say...Gyda!! Athelstan's face! His stupid face. /clutches him to my chest/ JFC, Ragnar, you are an asshole. This show is so fucking good! I am impressed with The History Channel.

I watched this week's Chicago Fire as well. I was not onboard with that storyline about Severide at all, for Reasons, but I thought the way he brought it to a head this week was pretty fucking awesome. I loved everything between Herrmann and Boden. Seriously, cartoon hearts appear in my vision every time Herrmann is on screen. I am so confused by him though - do I want him to marry me or adopt me? IDK! I haven't been this confused about a man since Bobby Singer. It was just a really good episode all around - (they usually are). My only complaint is that it should have been Severide who went to Casey at the end, not Peter. Just cuz, Feelings.

Now I fic rec you. A little something for everyone. )

Enjoy those! I'm going to work on my anniversary answers this weekend, so if you still want to ask me a question, you can do that here.

A few days ago it was [livejournal.com profile] mandatorily's birthday! So I set out to make my first Sherlock wallpapers ever! It started out a little rough but once I got back in the swing of things, it got better. I think each piece improved a little bit. [livejournal.com profile] mandatorily hasn't been around LJ lately and I know RL things are keeping her away, but hopefully she'll be back soon. I'm going to drop her a line so she knows these are here when she gets back. Anyways, I can think of a couple (dozen) people on my Flist who would also enjoy some Sherlock art...so here's some pretty. )

Also, see my new icon! I saw someone posted a pic of Matt & Ben (the one with Matt in the glasses) and was asking for an icon for it. Since I was just saying to [livejournal.com profile] wolfrider89 the other day how I love Ben so much and keep talking about him with everyone who will listen, that maybe I need an icon. So I was spurred into action! I pimped the icons to the original poster and now I will share with you. I have a new uploaded icon titled 'Afflecks & Co.' which is good because it means I can rotate out with Casey if I feel like it. I probably won't, despite loving Casey too, because...BEN! Also, I just love how much Ben and Matt love each other. It's nice.

All wallpapers and icons are up for grabs, as always. Enjoy the pretty!

In writing news, last night I came up with an awesome Dean/Cas AU and I want to write it so, so bad but it is kind of heart-wrenching and though I take glee in the fact that it would make all of you cry, I also know it would make me cry. I think I need to be in a more serious headspace than I am capable of getting into. I still think I want to try it though. I just like to break the pretty boys, okay?

Now - to catch up on my Flist some more or to write more Secret Crossover Fic (the action has really started to pick up!)? Decisions, decisions.

I was really sick to my stomach all day on Sunday. I had cramps so bad I was sweating from it. I figured it was Awesome Time of Month but 30-some hours later I still hadn't started. Then I was a little worried. Also, all the chocolate was gone, which was upsetting. I have finally started my Awesome Time now, which is good as in it means there isn't something terribly wrong with my stomach (it was much worse than usual this month) and I have made it through Day One (which is always the worst) and now I have to just convince myself to be productive and do some writing tomorrow, instead of trying to get that damn treasure chest on that damn cliffside. I swore to myself I would never play a video game that was so complicated that I had to look up a guide on the internet, and yet today, I found a guide to Go!Vacation. I don't have to get the treasure chests to enjoy the game but now it is a matter of pride, dammit!

Also, I took this quiz today about which Sherlock character I am (saw it on [livejournal.com profile] mandatorily's LJ and had to give it a try!). I usually don't post the results of these things but I am so amused by the fact that I am Lestrade that I had to share with ya'll.

You are Lestrade. You’re a hard worker who is seriously dedicated to your job, even when it might negatively impact other areas of your life. A bit jaded in your view of the world, you nevertheless value success and competence, and are willing to embrace unconventional methods if they will help you achieve your goals. Plus, you’re great at getting along with a wide variety of people — whether they get along with each other or not.

Pretty damn accurate. Take the quiz here.

In final and most important news - Here is a trailer for Les Mis the musical movie!!! I AM EXCITE, PEOPLES!! Called The Little Brother to tell him the trailer was out and the kid didn't even know they were making a movie. He is a huge Russell Crowe fan and Javert is his favorite character of all (very possibly mine too - he has such a great arc), so my brother was extra super psyched to hear about this.

This looks freaking awesome!

In Sum: I had a nightmare last night about having to ride on a camel with my mom. Idek.
