Distracted By Something Shiny

Just a look at some new shows I started watching in 2012. Apparently I started watching a lot of TV last year, so I’ll try to keep it brief. Thankfully these don’t all air during the same time of year!

Also, last year I started watching four shows that are not new, but were new to me, and are now in my regular viewing line-up; Teen Wolf, Leverage, Community & Paranormal Witness. I don’t know how I am going to like this one-a-week thing when Community comes back - I just want to mainline 12 episodes in a row. And, yeah, I am still crying into my pillow over Leverage’s cancellation.

LISTEN!! Kevin said I am suppose to limit my computer time this weekend. Dude, I have porn to write!! Bathtub!porn and Angel!porn - (but not bathtub-angel porn because Castiel likes showers!) - and...does he even understand these things? I mean, I use my left arm for pretty much everything and he's all, "Take it easy on your shoulder, stay off the computer," and I have ZOMBIES TO KILL WITH PLANTS and I used all my computer time already and now I am using my Zombie-Killing-Plant-Time to argue with you over the stupidity of your team somehow thinking they are better than my team just because Eric Close is on your team.

Whatever. You and I both know he is only half the man he should be when Enrique isn't with him anyways.

Also, did you see this...it looks like not everyone thinks Eric and James are made for each other - (no, I don't have a problem distinguishing a difference between the actors and the characters they play...why do you ask?)

I just watched that episode of South Park last night where the boys get served by some street dancer kids. The next time it happens, the boys dance back. Then Stan's mom is all, "Good job, Randy. You told Stan next time he got served, he should dance back. So he did. And now...it's on."

So, menel, you got served, you danced back, now...it's on.

I am gonna go kill zombies with plants now, but only for 15 minutes, because somehow Kevin always knows when I'm lying. Plus, that whole thing where my shoulder does actually hurt.


ETA: It occurred to me later that menel's LJ is friends-locked, so the rest of you are all raised-eyebrows over this post. Suffice to say, we both highly enjoyed The Zombie Meme. And I do actually love Chaos and am still pissed that it got canceled and I concede that Eric & James have fantastic chemistry together, even though my heart will always belong to Enrique Murciano. Basically, menel and I have been friends for far too long, if we've moved on from intellectual conversations to squaring off over our Zombie-Killing-Teams. I still say mine is better, mostly because it's mine.

So, I watched "Off The Map" today, the new show from the creator of "Grey's Anatomy" - which, for the record, I don't watch. This show was pretty much just Grey's on an island.

Apparently I missed the pilot episode last week, so someone who watched this show, please tell me...where exactly are they? I got that they are in South America, but...look, does anyone else find it odd that so many of the locals of this tiny rain-forest village speak English? Maybe I missed something, but I kind of found this full of fail and nonsense.

And not at all full of Enrique Murciano!!! BOO!! For his sake, I am glad. For my sake, not so much. I want my #1 TV BOYFRIEND BACK ON MY TV! (Honestly, I just want the characters Danny Taylor and Martin Fitzgerald to go be private investigators together on their own show.) Also, there were lots of naked women swimming in the lagoon or whatever, and hello, where is my naked Enrique?! Also, a missed opportunity to get him to speak some Spanish. It just rolls off of him like a sexgasm of words. It's delicious and delightful. As is he.

And Cheech was the medicine man of the village and all my sister had to say was, "Do you think you offered them Cherokee Hair Tampons?" (Anyone catches that reference, you win...my respect.)

Anyway, "Off the Map" blows and is slightly offensive and has NO ENRIQUE! On the upside, my Tivo tells me he will be popping up in an episode of "Medium" in the next few weeks so, - yay Tivo!

In Sum - My Tivo let's me watch Youtube from my TV!! Which means I can watch those uploaded "Misfits" episodes while working out. Also, I typed in the word "Dean" and the first thing that popped up was a Dean Winchester clip - so omg, I can watch SPN shit from Youtube on the big screen in my living room! TIVO IS THE BEST THING THAT EVER EXISTED EVER!!

In Sum: For my Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day - I want recs for fics with animals. No, casiedearestfic, not Werewolves. I mean, like, Jared runs a rescue shelter or Dean and Sam find a stray dog. Help?
